House Sitting in South Portland Gardens

Sergey did an amazing job watching our two dogs for a little over a week. They’re a bit anxious, one takes a long time to warm up but they ended up becoming friends which allowed us to really relax and enjoy our vacation. We are super thankful, and if we travel again will hope to have him watch our pups again!

Their attention to detail was impressive. They noticed habits and personality traits in our girls that we know and take for granted. They could tell that Brynn was having some regular arthritis pain and that Lilly was off her potty schedule and quickly communicated that to us to make sure we were aware and to see if there was anything they could do to help. They’re great at asking questions when they think anything should be brought to our attention and want to know if there is anything they can do about it. Their passion and love for fur babies was evidenced by their regular and thorough check-in texts, the time they spent time with our fur babies, and pictures they sent. Their attentiveness and regular updates regarding Lilly’s med schedule and Brynn’s arthritis pain gave us peace of mind while we were away. We definitely will ask them to spend time with Brynn and Lilly next summer when we return to Maine. Would recommend them to anyone!

Everything was great, John took very good care of my dog, birds and house during my trip to Europe! Would definitely recommend him as your dog sitter :)

Madeleine was friendly, responsible, and caring with my dog, Gus. She kept in touch and sent photos. She did everything I asked, including giving Gus medications, and she left the house in perfect shape. I would recommend Madeleine without a doubt for petsitting or housesitting.

We cannot say enough good things about Ryan and David. They went above and beyond for our little senior girl while we were away. We were worried about leaving her, but Ryan put us at ease immediately, and we could see how comfortable Maggie felt too. Ryan kept us updated with photos and texts, kept Maggie comfy with treats like a heat pad and walks in the front pack, and even went the extra mile and stayed another night to be with Maggie when our flight home was canceled. Ryan is so kind and we won’t look anywhere else for our dogs.

Renee was great! She communicated effectively and our dog had a wonderful time with her. We will definitely be asking her to sit for us again!

Brook was amazing!! So kind and attentive to the instructions I left. She has such a warm presence and my doggo loved her! We are so appreciative and will rebook with her in the future!

Kari was amazing watching our puppy. She sent photos and detailed updates, and took care of our puppy exactly as instructed (maybe even better!). She was respectful of our home and left it the same as when she arrived. Would absolutely have Kari stay at our house to dog sit again.

She took the very best care of my very old Boxer And my high needs Great Dane. If she can handle these two she can definitely handle any pup out there. Highly recommend.

Celine was amazing! She was very accessible and flexible and I knew my dog was well cared for even when I was out of cell service for most of the time. This was my first time using Rover and Celine and I will definitely be calling back!!

Britt was amazing house sitting for our cavapoo puppy. She was very responsive and reassured us completely on our first trip after getting our pup. Our puppy is shy around other humans and warmed up to Britt so quickly. Would recommend her to anyone looks for house sitting or dog walking!

Sam was hands down the best pet sitter we’ve ever had. It’s always nerve racking leaving your babies with someone new while you’re away but Sam put as at ease even upon our first meeting. You can immediately tell she’s a huge animal lover! She spoiled our girls throughout our entire trip - taking them to the beach, farmer’s market, eastern prom, and our nearby park. She even treated them to some special snacks! On top of being a great pet sitter so kept our house super clean and even washed the sheets and blankets. We’re so happy to have found Sam and will be using her for all of our future trips!

John is a wonderful dog and house sitter! Feel very lucky to have met him—as do my two pups!

Elise stayed with my little Yorkie Spooky and we were very pleased with this experience. Elise was in communication with me for updates on eating, drinking and bathroom status which put my anxious mind at ease and allowed me to relax knowing Spooky was in good hands. We’ll definitely book Elise again!

Jay was excellent! We were scrambling to get out the door for a weekend trip, and not only was the original response to a last-minute request quick, Jay knew exactly what to do upon arrival... take our pup out for a walk and relieve some pressure from us to head out! Loved the photos and communication. Thanks, Jay!

Rachael was amazing!! This was our first time leaving our puppy for an extended period of time and we were very nervous. Rachael kept us at ease with daily pictures and updates on Lily. We could see how well she was caring for her and how comfortable our girl was with her. We also came home to a house that was more clean than how we left it. I highly recommend Rachael and we look forward to using her again!
