House Sitting in Wiscasset

Elizabeth took great care of our Yorkshire terrier Brutus and also watered our 500 seedlings while we were gone for the weekend. She kept us posted daily on how things were going with pictures and a story. Brutus loves to hang out with Elizabeth so that he is very happy and not stressed out at all when we get home which was a vast improvement from his days at the kennel. Thanks again Elizabeth!

This was our first experience with Rover and we are so happy and relieved to have met Stephanie! She took wonderful care of our two (large) dogs. Both dogs were so relaxed and happy on our return that we knew they had felt safe with Stephanie. We highly recommend Rover and hope to see Stephanie again soon! MS

A great sitter! Avery watched my 8 month old Pitt mix during the day, and even took her on extra long walks to get that puppy energy out. Communicative and accommodating.

Candi took great care of our three rescue dogs and home while we were away. Our three dogs all have very different personalities and care requirements, so finding someone who can confidently meet each of their individual needs is incredibly important to us. Our youngest dog is energetic and requires plenty of exercise and engagement, while our two senior dogs need a much slower pace and extra attention. One of our seniors is a 13-year-old who is both hearing and vision impaired and has a number of behavioral quirks that come with age. He requires patience, consistency, frequent potty breaks, careful supervision outdoors, and an understanding of how to help him navigate his environment comfortably. Candi took the time to understand each dog’s routine and personality and cared for them exactly as we had hoped. Throughout our trip, she was highly responsive, sent regular photo updates, and kept us informed, which gave us peace of mind. It was clear from the photos and updates that our dogs were comfortable, happy, and relaxed in her care. When we returned home, they were content and at ease, showing how well cared for they were. She also took excellent care of our home, leaving everything in great condition. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Candi to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter—especially if you have pets with special needs or unique personalities. We would gladly have her care for our dogs again.

Hannah was a life saver - I lost my original sitter at the last minute the same day I was to leave for the weekend on a trip. Not only did she respond to my last minute request with a yes but she was at my house that afternoon meeting me and the pups before I left. I came home from two relaxing days to happy exercised pups - first time using Rover and will definitely be booking with Hannah again!! highly recommend!!!

Amanda did some sitting for my 2 dogs. She was exceptionally good with these rather difficult rescue dogs who have had limited socialization with people and other dogs. It took the my anxious one a year to take treats from my husband and less than one minute to be comfortable enough with Amanda. She is very calm and gentle as well as responsible and trustworthy. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a pet sitter! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m so happy I found Kayla!! She was so amazing with my babies, especially my super shy corgi Bailey. She sent regular updates with pictures and built trust so I didn’t worry at all. Will be booking again in the future!

Craig and Chelsea are beyond incredible! If you are looking for someone to care for your pets; they are the people to hire! They took impeccable care of my 2 dogs, and every photo they sent shows my dogs extremely happy. They thoroughly assess your pets health status, and even took my dogs to the vet when they had health issues. I am very impressed and of course would use them again.

Kate was amazing! She was communicative throughout our trip, sent lots of great photos and updates, and gave us complete peace of mind. We could tell she genuinely cared about our pets and treated them like her own. It was such a relief knowing they were in such good hands. Kourtney was great!! She spoke softly to our kitty and gained her trust and kept her from being scared. That means a great deal to us. She sent us darling videos so we didn't miss our kitty too much.

Katie is just all around perfect - easy to communicate with, on time, wonderful with my dogs, and even stayed late on short notice! She is a very warm and fun person who is also trustworthy and confident.

Hannah communicated with us daily, sent us pictures of herself and our cat interacting and asked questions when needing answers. She spent the night with him so he wouldn’t be alone for extended periods of time. We would definitely hire her again.

Dan was so, so communicative and so easy to work with. It was our first time using Rover (or a house/dog sitter) and we can't be happier with the outcome. He was so kind with our two labs, and was consistent with updates through the three nights we were away. Will definitely be reaching out for care in the future!
