My two cats absolutely adored Kelly! She is warm, reliable, and so easy to work with. She kept me updated with detailed messages and sent the cutest pictures that made being away so much easier. Lindsey was great with my 3 cats one of them needing nightly meds. She communicated with me every visit and she took our trash out wacummed before we got home.

Audrey took great care of our 3 cats and our home while we were out of town! She provided daily updates with lots of photos that we looked forward to getting every day! We've booked Randi multiple times now because out kitties love her. She treats the cats with such care and does a really great job with them.

Lizzi did both drop-ins and house sitting for us while we were away from our kitten the first time on a nearly week long trip. What a pro. Having someone who put this much thought into how they spend time with our kitten is exactly what I was looking for. Almost anyone can do food , water, clean out litter boxes.. but not everyone cares. Not everyone has the experience to understand what a pet is all about and will spend hours genuinely looking out for them, keeping them safe, and entertaining them. Lizzi is that person. It was so sweet seeing how happily Zuzu engaged in favorite games and settled to sleep with a friendly face. Communication about what would be in her best interest during fireworks and holiday hours was all done with great thought. We returned to a happy, healthy kitty.

Hanan took great care of Oreo while we were gone and she is the first overnight stay Rover that actually listens to us and takes advantage of the stay and treats it like a staycation which we encourage. We came home to a happy kitty!

My cat Sam is a big boy. Biiiiig boy. And because of that, when he’s frightened and unsure of people, they call him unfriendly! The truth is, when he’s like that, it’s because he’s in a strange place (the vet), being touched by strange people, in ways he doesn’t like. I’d be mean, too! Sam is very loving and has a big heart. I took in two feral kittens and he played momma cat to them. He made sure they ate, taught them to use the litter, and played with and socialized them. He was their protector. I was nervous about how he would react to a stranger, but he fell in love with her at first sight. She took such good care of my 23 yr old kitty and her many heath issues and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. She was very responsive and attentive. I plan to use her every time I head out of town.

Katherine was very responsive, respectful and caring for the drop in visits with Rosie. Shared pictures and feedback with each visit. Will definitely utilize her again.

Ashley, who goes by “Red,” is an absolutely wonderful human being, and if she is available, book her! Back in May, as a first-time user of Rover, I created 3 separate bookings with a sitter who had glowing reviews. However, on the day of our meet & greet—only 1 week before our first trip—she completely ghosted us. I nearly panicked because I didn’t think we’d be able to find an available sitter on such short notice. I hopped back on Rover, entered my dates, filtered by Star Sitters, and hit “search.” Red was at the top of my search results, and after looking over her profile, I felt like she may be a good choice. Although her calendar showed her as available for the dates of our trip, I was prepared to be let down. I sent her a message explaining our situation. Not only did she respond quickly, she also responded with kindness & empathy. Best of all, she was available to sit for our beloved kitty! AND she volunteered to come over the next morning for a meet & greet! Less than 24 hours after reaching out to her, Red messaged me to let me know she was on her way to my house. Upon opening my door, I immediately liked her. Seriously. She just radiates this incredible energy! She is also so kind, compassionate, and engaging. She explained how she has devoted her life to caring for animals, and she just lit up as she was telling us about it. Best of all? Sassy, our shy & anxious kitty, came out of hiding pretty quickly to investigate her, and by the end of the visit, was giving Red love rubs on her leg! This was unprecedented, and we were absolutely shocked. Sassy’s response to meeting Red left no doubts in our mind; we had chosen the perfect caretaker for our precious kitty. We booked Red for two of our three camping trips. This review is based on our second booking with her, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her! She is the sweetest person! And an excellent communicator, which is vital for us anxious pet parents who are forced to leave our beloved (and vulnerable!) pets home alone. I had no qualms leaving Sassy alone this second time because I knew that Red would take excellent care of her…and she absolutely has! I am so sad that Red is not available for our third trip, but if she’s available next summer, you can bet I will be booking her!

After meeting Alayna before our vacation, we felt completely comfortable leaving our cat in her care. She payed careful attention to instructions and asked good questions. And, sure enough, she did everything perfectly while we were away and her communication was excellent after each drop-in. She even did extra things to look after the household while we were away and that was really appreciated, too. She's smart and sharp and nice, with a sweet personality as well as obviously being great with animals.
