House Sitting in Newark

We couldn't have asked for a better petsitter and housesitter than Aja! She took wonderful care of our home and our three fur babies while we were away for the weekend. We felt reassured from the moment we left, knowing everything was in good hands. She provided regular updates, was incredibly kind, and kept our home spotless. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone needing a dependable and thoughtful sitter!

Kathy took wonderful care of Winston for two weeks while we were away. She stayed at our home and made the entire experience stress-free by sending regular updates, photos, and communicating with me daily. She administered Winston’s daily medications, took him on multiple walks each day, and genuinely cared for his well-being. Not only was she dependable, kind, and flexible—especially on the day our travel home changed—but she also left our house spotless and exactly as we had left it. Knowing Winston was in such good hands gave me real peace of mind while traveling. I would absolutely recommend Kathy to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

I came home and my dogs were totaly relaxed. They must of liked carissa and were totally comfortable. We are leaving them next month for a week with carissa and I am more excited about my trip knowing carissa will be here with my dogs. This is working great, so pleased I found carissa. Thank you carissa!!!!

Ainsley was great with communication. She cleaned up after herself and stripped her bed and threw the linens in the washer for me. We will be inviting her back!

Shirley was terrific. Her calm demeanor really helped to calm our sometimes reactive dog for this first time being left at home without his usual humans. She followed our instructions, sent regular updates with photos, clearly played a lot with our pup and reassured him that all was well. She was respectful of our home, kept everything as tidy as we'd left it. We will definitely have her back if she's available when we go out of town next time.

Jessica was absolutely INCREDIBLE! This was our first time having someone watch our animals when we were away on vacation, and Jessica made it such a stress free experience! She communicated with us daily on the status of our animals and sent us lots of pictures - which we loved! We would recommend Jessica over and over again to anyone looking for someone to watch over their animals!

Victoria watched our two Doberman Pinschers when my husband and I went on a weeklong business trip, and we couldn’t have been more impressed with her. 🙂 From the first meet and greet, our two dogs bonded with her instantly, so we knew they’d be in great hands. We would highly recommend Victoria to any Rover Customers, and we are forever grateful for her services that week. 🥰🥰

Yushonda went above and beyond our expectations caring for our hound, Edwin. She created a lot of opportunities for activity, while monitoring his body language for when he’d had enough. We appreciated the many updates, pictures, and video. We could tell he was having a week of fun with his new best friend.

Judy is a gem! She has a way with people, knows what she’s doing, and was quick to engage with our older (age 12/13) and younger dogs (~age 3). From the first, her immediate response to my booking request, and easy scheduling of a meet and greet, etc. she put us at ease knowing she would be more than capable to care for our pups and home. She sent daily updates and photos of our doggies enjoying themselves and left our home in excellent condition! I couldn’t give more positive feedback about Judy except that we are definitely looking forward to having her back! Thank you, Judy, you’re the best!

Sara was fantastic with keeping us updated with how our boys were and always sending lot of pictures! She asked questions and never assumed anything. It can be very nerve reckoning leaving your babies with a stranger, but Sara has our trust and we will definitely be using her again.

So glad I found Lily! She is kind, responsible, follows directions and brought me so much peace of mind knowing my 2 dogs and cat were taken care of while we were out of town. She stayed overnight with them and kept them company. Our trip itinerary changed a bit and Lily was so flexible about what time we needed her to be at our home. She sent me pics of how content my fur babies were in her care at our home. I will be booking with her again for sure. Highly recommend!

Danielle watched our 2 Golden Retrievers in our home so we could leave for the night. Dogs loved her right from the start. Very pleasant young lady. We came home to happy animals! Will use Danielle again!

Kristy stayed at our home with Olive, our 160 lb mastiff, for 8 days. Kristy skillfully built trust with Olive who is slow to accept new people into our home. Kristy made an extra effort to help ease the transition for Olive. Kristy was easy to reach and communicated well before, and during our trip. We are completely satisfied with Kristy's service and will book again with her in the future.

Kyla did an incredible job caring for our two pups. They require special pills and food, and she took great care of them. Her communication was also excellent. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable animal caretaker!
