House Sitting in Salem

Amy does an AMAZING job! Parker loves having her here, so much so he seems sad when she leaves. She gives his meds on time (very important as they're time sensitive), gives him lots of attention and walks. She takes care of the house as well and so glad to have been referred to her!

Kayla was very responsive & came to our house to meet Brady. She was very accommodating & we would definitely use Kayla again!🐾

This was my first time using Rover and Megan made my first experience excellent. She was prompt, very communicative and sent lots of photos. 100% would recommend her to anyone looking!

This was our first time using Rover. Mallory was very helpful. and seemed to to do a wonderful job. Thanks, Mallory! I guess I was surprised by sitters leaving the house. I have a better understanding now. In the future I will request sitters keep me informed.

Michele was great! My dog, Molly was so happy with Michele.

Taylor stayed at our house to watch our two cats for a couple of days. She was diligent about following their care instructions and gave frequent updates.

Alex took great care of my dog, Red. She met Red ahead of accepting the booking, asked all the right questions. Her in-home stay with Red was great. I received photos and updates and she really took the time to make Red feel comfortable with her. Will definitely be rebooking!

Corinne did a fantastic job taking care of our dog while we were on vacation! She kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our pup has lots of energy, and Corinne made sure he got plenty of playtime and attention. She was also very respectful of our home. We’d gladly have her back to watch our dog anytime!

We had a wonderful experience with Christopher. Communication was excellent from start to finish—he kept us updated regularly and he was always quick to respond, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dog has anxiety, and it was clear Christopher handled everything with patience, care, and understanding. He really took the time to make sure our dog felt comfortable and safe, which means a lot to us. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup and a house that was just as we left it. We would absolutely recommend Christopher and would not hesitate to use him again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our dog Bruiser. He’s usually pretty wary of strangers, but he warmed up to Kelsey right away when she came for the meet and greet. Throughout our trip, she sent regular photos and updates, which put our minds at ease about leaving him home alone for the first time. Besides taking great care of Bruiser, she went above and beyond with the house — bringing in the mail, taking out the trash, and leaving everything spotless when we got back. We’d trust Kelsey with Bruiser again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend her highly enough!

Elizabeth you’re a true joy and a blessing to me! I so appreciate the love and care you gave to my elderly CKD kitty and my greyhounds (and fish, and the feral outside cat LOL). I’m so pleased you did great with the fluids administration as well- it’s certainly a bit scary at first, but at least it’s a quick event. I didn’t expect the sheets and towels to be clean too, as that was unexpected but appreciated. I swear house was left better than I left it, thank you!

Leaving your pets with someone outside the family for the very first time is always nerve-wracking—especially when you have three large dogs who they’ve never met before. But from the moment Diandra stepped in, all our worries melted away. 1. Proactive & Prepared: She went above and beyond by taking the time to schedule a thorough meet-and-greet before our trip. This gave everyone a chance to get acquainted and instantly put us at ease. 2. Professional & Kind: Her demeanor is the perfect blend of warm, loving, and completely professional. You can instantly tell she is a true animal lover who knows how to handle large breeds with confidence and care (we even got to see pictures of her past dog!) 3. Fantastic Communication: Throughout our time away, she kept us wonderfully updated with regular messages and adorable photos. Knowing our dogs were happy, safe, and well-cared for allowed us to actually enjoy our trip. This was our first time trusting anyone outside of family with our dogs, and she set the bar impossibly high. We would 100% use her again in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for top-tier, loving pet care!

Hannah did a wonderful job watching our boys over the weekend! Sent us updates and kept the house in great shape, would book her again for sure.

Lyle watched our 2 dogs & 1 cat while we were out of town for a week. He really worked hard to gain their trust and affection, which was difficult with our older Chihuahua mix. They all got along well with him and his patience paid off. We got regular updates with a lot of photos that really put us at ease that our pets were in good hands. We also were able to add a last minute check in on the last day when our flight was rescheduled, which was very helpful. We’ll continue to book Lyle whenever possible for both drop in visits and longer stays - highly recommend!

Denise is a treasure! Denise is so kind and patient and has an extensive background with animals. We went away for two weeks and she provided the best care for our two fur babies, sending us photos and videos daily! We could tell that our boys were happy and well cared for. The house was clean, just as we left it when we returned. We could not recommend her enough.

Our dogs love Abbey!! She walks them weekly and we just had her in for our first overnight stay. We got lots of updates along the way and the dogs seemed to have a wonderful time. I will gladly recommend Abbey to others.
