Dog Boarding in South Range

JaLynn was great with my dog Rosie! I got updates and pictures and Rose seemed much more content when I picked her up! She received excellent care and I’ve already booked another stay for her!

Jane is such a blessing!! We live in North Carolina and drove all the way to Michigan so we could go to Isle Royale. We needed someone to take care of our dogs, and I was very anxious about it because we don’t have friends or family in the area, or already trusted sitters. I also REALLY did not want to board our dogs in any of the local kennels - I’m sure they’re great, it’s just sad to think of my dogs in a cage in a room with other caged dogs :(. Jane provided so many pictures and updates, which I was able to thankfully receive while on Isle Royale because I had a satellite phone plan during our trip. Honestly, though, even if you can’t arrange for something like that, I would 1000% trust Jane to take care of your animals while you are out on the island and are unable to receive/send messages due to lack of cellular. She took great care of our pups, and made sure one of our dogs wore a little boot/sock I provided before taking them on walks because I noticed a blood blister on her paw before the stay started. I’m so happy Jane and her husband could watch our dogs. I was able to truly enjoy the wonder of Isle Royale because of her thoughtful care!

Our pup Rain had a great time staying with Ashley while we visited Isle Royale National Park. She sent us an update and some pictures. Rain loved getting to play with the other dogs staying with her. She was tuckered out when she got home. I would recommend Ashley if you are in the area.

Marcy took great care of Petey, my Boston Terrier when I went out of town. She took him for nice long walks and gave him plenty of playtime outdoors which he loves. It was also nice of Marcy to send me pictures and give me updates. I will definitely call her again next time Petey needs a sitter.

There aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am for Karma, John, and their family. They are, hands down, the best dog sitters we’ve ever had. From the moment Luka arrived, they treated him like he was one of their own. Their sweet dog, Teddy, became the perfect big brother, and their girls absolutely adored him. He even got to know an auntie and grandma! It wasn’t just dog sitting it felt like Luka had his own second family. He spent his days playing, getting plenty of love and attention, and was cared for as if he were their own pup. Luka is the definition of a mama’s boy, so I expected him to be counting the minutes until I came back. Instead, he didn’t want to leave! Seeing him so happy and comfortable gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My only complaint? Watching him leave. I actually had to carry him to the car because he wanted to stay with his new family. Thank you, Karma and John, for loving my boy so well. Knowing he was safe, happy, and genuinely loved meant the world to me. I couldn’t recommend your family more highly, and Luka can’t wait for his next visit!

When we picked him up, Woody seemed more than a little put out that we we extracted him from his excellent adventure… He is now back to his boring life but we are happy with the love that you gave him this past week! Thank you for accommodating our schedule change. See you next time!
