House Sitting in Chanhassen

Kristin was excellent, from start to finish, including the pre-job walk-through and she has a calm, sweet way with both felines & canines!! She walked my older Labrador very early--before her full-time day job--to accommodate his needs, avoiding high humidity & heat, and sent photos of my two cats, who don't always get along, and my dogs each day. My pickiest older cat had befriended Kristin in only a couple days, allowing her ear scratches & cuddles nearby on the couch. All three followed her around the house. Kristin paid attention to the weather each day for my cat who prefers the outdoor enclosed porch: some days are too hot/humod for a fur coat--and brought him inside. Kristin provided consistent, thorough communication, building trust; she left the house tidy, the yard clear, & litter tended. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Kristin again.

Kristina was fantastic! She was responsive and attentive to our senior pupper. The pictures and updates were appreciated! We will definitely ask her back.

This was the first time we have left our big guy with someone other than family. To say we were nervous is an understatement. Autumn took great care of our pup and our home for two weeks. I hired Deborah to house sit and care for my senior and young adult dogs and she provided great care for them with love. When I returned from my trip, my home was just as I had left it for Deborah. I will definitely use Deborah again and highly recommend her!

Catarina is the dog sitter of our dreams! This was our first time having her take care of my dog, and she was phenomenal. My dog struggles with anxiety, she takes a daily medication as well as she has a rescue med if she is really having a hard time. Catarina recognized when my dog was really struggling and reached out to me to check in and ask if she could give my dog the rescue med. I was so impressed by her ability to be so in tune with not only my dog’s physical needs but also her emotional needs. Catarina texted me multiple times each day to give updates, she sent lots of videos and pictures, and she was very, very loving towards my needy dog. I had such a better vacation knowing that my dog was being cared for by such a responsible and loving person. Also, Catarina left my home spotless for us when we came home. We will never use a different dog sitter again. Catarina was AMAZING!

We hired Kenzie from River Pet Sitting to care for our dog Frida during several big family events, and she was a tremendous help! Thanks to her, we could truly enjoy the celebrations without worrying or feeling stressed about Frida. Kenzie is reliable, dependable, accurate, and always punctual. Her calm and gentle presence helped Frida a lot with her separation anxiety. It was clear that Kenzie genuinely cares about animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. Camille was so great to have as a pet sitter for Suzy. She was so professional, flexible, and caring. She provided timely updates and fun pictures which my kids loved. It felt so nice having someone responsible watching our dog as well as our house. Suzy was so calm and relaxed when we came home, which is definitely a change from when we pick her up from a boarding facility. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience, and can’t wait to book Camille again.

Emma was wonderful. When she came out to meet the girls - our dog and her "cousin" who was staying with us - our dog Lakota fell in love, in love, in love with her. Unusual for our Lakota. Our dogs were the best they've ever been at our homecoming. From her daily reports, it was the most time they spent out and about while we were gone. (They tend to hide or stay apart on their own while we are gone.) It was clear from her reports and their behavior that they received plenty of loving attention. She kept in touch and we could see that they were doing fine. Absolutely would love to have her for our kids again.
