House Sitting in Excelsior

Elaine is our favorite dog sitter! She has a huge heart for animals, is always responsive, and leaves our house cleaner than we left it. ❤️ 🐶

Elizabeth did a great job with our dog and cats during our overnight booking. She followed instructions, communicated well, and was a true pleasure to deal with. We will entrust her with our pets next time we need live-in services.

Lindsay did a fantastic job taking care of our two dogs at our house - they got plenty of exercise and love. Will definitely work with her again, and am confident the dogs will be excited to see her!

Catarina took amazing care of my dog, Ember. This is her second time caring for Ember and it was awesome to see how much Ember remembered her from last time and loves her. Catarina is incredibly responsible and trust-worthy, and goes above and beyond to make sure your dog feels comfortable and loved. I would 1,000 % recommend Catarina to anyone. She is our go-to dog sitter, and the only one I’ll leave my dog with!

Molly was amazing! We felt so comfortable leaving our pup for the first time without either parent. Our dog became sick several days before we left town, and Molly adapted and was willing to care for our pup, even when he was sick and needed medication and extra attention. She sent frequent pictures and updates. We felt like we were reassured with each message, pic, or video. In addition, she cared for our garden and plants, as well as kept the place clean. I would book her again.

I feel so lucky to have found Skai on Rover to care for our 'special needs' Springer Spaniel while we were out of town. Skai spent three days with Ollie, who is on quite a bit of medication for a long-term illness. He also needs to go out all the time to pee as a side effect of one of his medications. Skai took such good care of Ollie and followed the instructions for his care so carefully. She sent many pictures of Ollie enjoying his days while we were away, and I loved the updates. Skai's communication throughout the trip (and before and after) were exceptional. Our house was beautiful upon our return. Skai even washed the sheets and towels, which I had not asked her to do. Ollie loved Skai as there are quite a few photos of him curled up next to her. I would not hesitate to recommend Skai to care for your pets. They'd be lucky to be in her care!

Emma was wonderful. When she came out to meet the girls - our dog and her "cousin" who was staying with us - our dog Lakota fell in love, in love, in love with her. Unusual for our Lakota. Our dogs were the best they've ever been at our homecoming. From her daily reports, it was the most time they spent out and about while we were gone. (They tend to hide or stay apart on their own while we are gone.) It was clear from her reports and their behavior that they received plenty of loving attention. She kept in touch and we could see that they were doing fine. Absolutely would love to have her for our kids again.

Michelle stayed with our 2 miniature Dachshunds for the first time this past weekend and I couldn't have felt more comfortable. She sent many photos and updates throughout her stay and I could see how relaxed our dogs were. She definitely has a generous amount of love to give to your pets.

Amyah took care of Tucker for 1.5 days while we had a quick trip out of town. She was willing to meet ahead of time for a brief meet-n-greet to get acquainted. During the booking, Amyah kept in touch with pictures and messages, which was appreciated. Thanks Amyah!

We adopted both our dogs, in our new home, in a new city - just about a year before the 2020 lockdown started. Since then - I have continued to work from home - and my dogs are pretty much never left alone. We have even brought them with me when I have traveled...which was a bit much. For this trip, I reached out through Rover which I have used before in other cities- and it has always been great. Because my dogs were not used to being home alone for extended periods of time, I really wanted someone who could housesit them. I put my request in about a month before my trip - and was surprised at how many responses I received right away. Katie responded that she was available - AND could have a "meet and greet" the very day I put the request in. We set it up a few hours later – and I met her (and her two kids – which at first I thought was I little odd - her daughter – maybe around 11 and her son maybe around 5-6?). But honestly, you could tell that Katie is really together and her kids are really cool...so that “meet and greet” with the kids actually made me trust her even more. A few days before our trip – Katie came over and we went through everything – easy breezy. And then during our trip she sent us texts/pics/updates – and I knew our house and our puppers were in great hands. Katie is the first person I would contact if I had to find a dog sitter again – she is awesome! Thanks Katie!!!

Jillian did a great job taking care of our dogs!

Brooke was great! She sent a lot of photos and videos throughout the sit so we never had to wonder how anyone was doing. We have two dogs and two cats so it was not an easy sit! It was clear that she really got to know our pets and they were relaxed and happy when we got home. One of our dogs is leash reactive and tricky to walk and Brooke managed him super well! We will definitely use her in the future.

This is our third time having Sammy watch our pup. She is always professional, diligent and goes way above and beyond to make sure both the animal in her care as well as the owners are extremely well cared for. I can’t recommend Sammie enough.
