Doggy Day Care in Mendota Heights

After striking out with other Rover’s my reactive dog is finally part of a pack at McKenzie’s! She REALLY knows dog behavior and body language and customizes each day to make sure my pup is getting the attention he needs. Some days it’s extra snuggles and some days it’s extra play time! I’m sending him here for as long as she will have him!

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Andrea won over the heart of our senior, standoffish dog and kept our little crazy one happy and well cared for. She was also so kind and flexible when I messed up our booking dates, happily rearranging things even though she had just gotten home from a long vacation the day before. We really appreciated it! We came home to two happy dogs and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend! ❤️🐾

Xan did a wonderful job caring for our dog Charlie on short notice. Charlie was well cared for and it was clear he was relaxed and in good spirits when we picked him up. Thank you Xan!

Wouldn’t recommend Lydia enough! She was a great communicator and responded right away when I had questions. She handled my XL puppy very well. My pup can’t wait to go back!

Takenya gave the very best care to our Dear Floyd in her lovely home. There was a Thunder storm when I dropped him off, so he was a bit frightened. She helped comfort him, helping him find a safe den in her home. He was calm and his happy self when I picked him up. We will absolutely use Takenya again. She truly loves dogs and showed great care for our Floyd.

My dog had a fantastic time at River’s house! She has a huge backyard and a huge heart for dogs. We will be back for sure! I have a very happy and tired pup after 8 hours of play in her backyard. ?

Herman loved his time with Topsy and seemed so at home! He especially loved gallivanting around her big yard. Very happy to have her care for our sweet pup!

Aimee took great care of Tumnus on his first day of doggie day care! He's a nervous boy with new things and she managed his stress and gave me good updates through the day. I think he recognized her from a house sitting she had done previously and was comfortable with her which helps enormously.

Susie took Oatmeal at the last minute! They sent photos throughout the day and were so patient with his separation anxiety. He was happy and tired at the end of the day.

Jazzy came home super tired and happy! Emily sent some fun pictures and updates throughout the day.

Bethany was so gentle and caring with my reactive ole lady doggo! We will be back for overnight care in the future. Neighborhood and house are very quiet & peaceful.

Carrie was great. I appreciated having the meet and greet with her dog and she always responds in a timely manner.

OMG! Abby and her family were so sweet and gentle with my Frida! I left feeling confident that I made the right decision. Frida will be a regular guest. Thank you 🙏🏼
