House Sitting in Orono

Stephanie took great care of our two pets while housesitting over a long weekend. She provided regular updates with the cutest photos of her playing with them, and they looked like they had a blast! We would definitely rebook with Stephanie again!

Sarah has been amazing with our boys. Our older guy can be a handful and she managed to win him over. We’ve had Sarah sit for us twice already and are already planning to reserve her for more trips.

We adopted both our dogs, in our new home, in a new city - just about a year before the 2020 lockdown started. Since then - I have continued to work from home - and my dogs are pretty much never left alone. We have even brought them with me when I have traveled...which was a bit much. For this trip, I reached out through Rover which I have used before in other cities- and it has always been great. Because my dogs were not used to being home alone for extended periods of time, I really wanted someone who could housesit them. I put my request in about a month before my trip - and was surprised at how many responses I received right away. Katie responded that she was available - AND could have a "meet and greet" the very day I put the request in. We set it up a few hours later – and I met her (and her two kids – which at first I thought was I little odd - her daughter – maybe around 11 and her son maybe around 5-6?). But honestly, you could tell that Katie is really together and her kids are really cool...so that “meet and greet” with the kids actually made me trust her even more. A few days before our trip – Katie came over and we went through everything – easy breezy. And then during our trip she sent us texts/pics/updates – and I knew our house and our puppers were in great hands. Katie is the first person I would contact if I had to find a dog sitter again – she is awesome! Thanks Katie!!!

Madison was a fantastic pet sitter on fairly short notice. She provided multiple updates and photos of our pets every day. She kept us well apprised of their schedules and activities. Most importantly, they seemed happy, healthy and well cared for with her. Upon our return, we found the house and pets in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to hire her again!

Catarina is the dog sitter of our dreams! This was our first time having her take care of my dog, and she was phenomenal. My dog struggles with anxiety, she takes a daily medication as well as she has a rescue med if she is really having a hard time. Catarina recognized when my dog was really struggling and reached out to me to check in and ask if she could give my dog the rescue med. I was so impressed by her ability to be so in tune with not only my dog’s physical needs but also her emotional needs. Catarina texted me multiple times each day to give updates, she sent lots of videos and pictures, and she was very, very loving towards my needy dog. I had such a better vacation knowing that my dog was being cared for by such a responsible and loving person. Also, Catarina left my home spotless for us when we came home. We will never use a different dog sitter again. Catarina was AMAZING!

Victoria is amazing! We had her house sit for us for a week and she was very responsive with daily updates and photos. We came home to a clean house & happy animals; would definitely book her again!

Alex was great! She's very upbeat and friendly so Henley loved her. He got lots of playtime and attention. We will definitely have her again

AJ did a great job taking care of otter and giving him meds 3x a day.

Brooke was great! She sent a lot of photos and videos throughout the sit so we never had to wonder how anyone was doing. We have two dogs and two cats so it was not an easy sit! It was clear that she really got to know our pets and they were relaxed and happy when we got home. One of our dogs is leash reactive and tricky to walk and Brooke managed him super well! We will definitely use her in the future.

Autumn stayed at our home and took such good care of our pets. She sent daily updates and pictures. Clearly both dogs and both cats loved her. Two thumbs up for Autumn!!

I hired Deborah to house sit and care for my senior and young adult dogs and she provided great care for them with love. When I returned from my trip, my home was just as I had left it for Deborah. I will definitely use Deborah again and highly recommend her!

Kelsey was a great house sitter for our three pets. We have a senior dog, a rabbit and a Guinea pig. She sent photos and updates each day which I really enjoyed. She maintained good communication from the beginning of the booking until the end. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future.

Justin was great at communicating and keeping me in the loop about my pups. He was very understanding and flexible when our younger dog, Hila, decided to act out after we left. The dogs were relaxed and happy when I got home. The house was also clean and taken care of. He did a great job and I would definitely have him watch the pups again.

Erin was fabulous! She was incredibly communicative and quick to respond to messages. Our doggos loved her from the moment she arrived for the meet-and-greet, and it was clear she’s a dog lover at heart. One of our dogs is a bit shy, and she won him over in no time. Our other dog is recovering from major cancer surgery, and Erin did a wonderful job keeping a close eye on her and giving her lots of extra love. She had no trouble sticking to their feeding routine, sent lots of photos and updates, and really helped put our minds at ease, especially with our dog, who needs a bit of extra care right now. She also took them on long walks and handled cleanup well despite it being mud season. Bonus: she even helped feed our coral reef fish tanks! We know we can count on Erin and are looking forward to having her house sit again. Thanks, Erin!
