Dog Boarding in Richmond

It was my first time using Rover. I couldn't have been more happier with Kanye and Emily. They were fantastic with my Rusty James. I will book them again for my next vacation.

This was our first time using Rover and it was a great experience - Christine welcomed Nina into her home and the drop off went so smoothly. Nina came home and slept after all the fun she had and loves her new blanket.

Yogi struggled with his latest visit (we were moving my daughter to college and we're pretty sure he knew something big was changing). His struggle had nothing to do with Caitlin and she was exceptionally understanding despite him causing messes and sleep deprivation. This was his second visit with her so she knew this was unusual for him. I'm glad that he was with such a caring person during this stressful time - I can't imagine how bad it might have been had he been left just at a kennel overnight, so I'm very thankful for Caitlin.

We were so happy to be able to have Jon and Jessica take our Millie for the weekend! She was in great hands and got lots of love and attention - will definitely continue to reach out to them when we need a sitter! Thank you!

Roux had such a fantastic time! We got photo updates every day, and I think Roux may have had more fun than we did while we were away! Ashley and her family are the best hosts. It feels like leaving our pup with family. Roux is just part of their pack while she’s with them, and it gave us such great peace of mind. We’ll be back!

Matthew and his family took great care of Miley. He sent photos and detailed daily updates of what she did and ate during the day. Matthew lives on 12 acres and took our pup out quite a bit, where she even got to play with a few farm animals. She loved it! We would definitely send our dog to Matthew's again.

Our Charlie is a bit high maintenance so we usually have family or close friends watch him and for this trip no one was available so we had to find another option. We are so happy our search led us to Amy and her wonderful family. Our boys are 5 and 4 and loved knowing Amy had two kids of her own in the house to help with and love on Charlie while we were gone. They checked in and sent pictures bringing smiles to all of our faces. Truly game changing having our Charlie in such great hands. He usually won’t eat when we’re gone but this time came home happy and with some of his food gone which was great to see as well. Would highly recommend - can’t thank them enough for helping our vacation to be care free knowing our 5th family member was being taken care of so well. Thank you, Amy!

Sydney did a wonderful job with Toby, especially on short notice! She’s very patient and sent multiple messages throughout the week to let me know how he was doing! 10/10 will use again!

Abby was great I was nervous about a new person watching my dog but i was very comfortable leaving him with her! And appreciate her flexibility. I will definitely use her again

Having a 12-year-old Lhatese who has never stayed in a kennel I was very hesitant to use a dogsitter I didn't know. But, everything went great! Jill sent me frequent photos and updates. When I picked up Sophie she was relaxed and happy. I highly recommend this family for dogsitting!

Hannah took wonderful care of my dog, kept me in the loop on how it was going and was very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. She made it obvious we made the right choice bringing our dog to Hannah and her family.

Crystal was so awesome to us and our hounds! She accommodated our last minute reservation. Her prices were reasonable and she took care of our bassets like they were her own. I received updates regularly. In the pics she sent, my hounds were comfy & happy. We will be calling on her again.

Grace was amazing! So professional and sent updates throughout the stay. Our dog felt right at home with her. Highly recommend!

Jennifer is a true dog lover. Her home is on a lake so it’s great for water loving dogs! She’s very responsive & sent us pictures during our boarding. Our pup can’t wait to go back!

Stacy was wonderful! Our dog took to her right away. She regularly sent pictures and texts to update us on how our dog was doing and getting along. We would not hesitate to have our dog stay with Stacy again and will recommend her to others.

Amanda is a great dog sitter! Molly had a fun time playing with Bailey and napping with Amanda. Calm and happy is not what you expect when you kennel your dog, but a dog sitter is so much better. I'd have Amanda to sit Molly again in a heartbeat!

Our second time using Mikayla was just as wonderful as the first 😊
