Dog Boarding in Scandia

Princesa was absolutely wonderful with my dog Juneau. Juneau can be a bit anxious, so I’m always a little nervous leaving her—but Princesa immediately put me at ease. She was so warm and welcoming at drop-off, and it was clear right away that Juneau was in caring, capable hands. Throughout her stay, Princesa kept me updated with messages and photos, which I really appreciated. It meant so much to see Juneau looking relaxed, comfortable, and happy—it gave me real peace of mind while I was away. Princesa, her family, and their dogs were all fantastic and helped Juneau feel right at home. They also have a large, beautiful property that’s perfect for dogs to roam, explore, and just be dogs—Juneau loved having that space. I’m so grateful for the care she received and would absolutely book with Princesa again. Highly recommend!

Marie & Mark took wonderful care of our dog, Molly. They were very understanding when I messed up on my arrival time at the drop off. Marie communicated quickly & made our vacation worry free about our dog! Highly recommend!

Our dogs had a great stay. Cate was communicative and accomodating. She made sure to understand what each of our dogs needed to make them feel at home.

Elizabeth and Erik are great sitters! They were always responsive and kept me updated for my dog while I am away. I can tell that my dog had a great time in their home.

Brandy and her family did such a great job with our sensitive girl! They were interested in making certain Luna could "find her place" in the family routine and settle in. Luna loved playing with one of their pups too! When we picked her up, we could tell she had adjusted very happily to her one week stay! I am so thankful to have found a great home for Luna to be cared for in while we were away.

Tammy and John are exceptional dog sitters who take amazing care of my dog, Luna. I always feel at ease knowing she’s in such good hands. They send daily updates with photos and videos, which I really appreciate. Luna always comes home happy and well-loved!

This was my first time using Rover and Patti and Patrick will definitely be my first choice next time! Pansy can be a bit nervous with new people but Patti spent a long time helping her get comfortable during the meet and greet, and by Day 2 of her stay she seemed to have moved in. :) I really appreciated the frequent updates and pictures and know Pansy was very well taken care of while I was away.

Alisha & Cameron did a great job making Josie feel at home!! It was her first boarding event & she was a bit nervous at first. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her & sending me updates!

Anna is “our” family pet person! This was our dogs second stay ! Both my Golden’s this time! Her photos came everyday and was such a treat while we were on vacation to see how happy they were !! Sometimes multiple daily photos!! We are so happy to have found her!! My dogs love kids and other dogs/pets and of course attention!! They got it all!! I can’t say enough about their great/just like home care! The only hesitation I have is to share too much as I don’t want her to be booked the next time we need her!! Thank you Anna and family!! Trump and Sully already miss ALL of you!!❤️❤️

Our pup Marian LOVES going to Jenell's house. We appreciate that we feel totally comfortable leaving Marian with Jenell and know that she will be very well taken care of while we are on vacation.

Michelle was such a great sitter for my boy, Stanley. She sent multiple updates and photos to me each day. He got a lot of attention and stimulation with long walks around her large property. I can be protective of my dog but I felt at ease leaving him in her care. I can’t recommend Michelle enough.

Kaitlyn was great!! So glad Myrtle could have plenty of outside time running around with other dogs during her stay. Kaitlyn was a great communicator and sent us videos to keep us updated. We will use her again!

The pups were well cared for! They reached out proactively to make sure they had what they needed to ensure a comfortable stay which was great.

Lisa did a great job looking after my two dogs, Ice and Minnie! The girls felt instantly comfortable at Lisa’s home and her little dog Dukey was just the sweetest host as well! A special treat was the fenced backyard where the three dogs could all run and play. The communication was superb, and I got some nice pictures of my dogs while I was away for the weekend. I will definitely ask Lisa to care for my dogs again. Thanks Lisa!!

Milo enjoyed another 9 day stay with Talishia. We received updates and pictures throughout the stay. Milo actually got sick before his stay but thankfully Talishia was still able to accommodate him. We will continue to use Talishia when we need a place for Milo to stay!

This was our first time using Rover and it was an awesome experience. We have a little problem child rescue dog, and was concerned about how he would be away from us and in a home where he wasn’t the king, lol. He did amazingly well with McKayla and Dillon. They were spot on with his care and gave us updates to ease our mind. We actually took this vacation just to try Rover and didn’t go far incase he was bad. Once I seen that he had settled in nicely to their home and was behaving we could relax and enjoy our mini-vacation. Their home is very dog friendly and their dog is very chill which I believe helped Rex relax and enjoy his time away also. I will definitely be calling McKayla and Dillon for our next vacation to take care of our little bundle of fur.

Lauren and James were awesome dog sitters! I'm very picky about who I let my dog stay with and have pretty high expectations. They not only met my expectations but exceeded them! They provided regular updates and photos giving me peace of mind that my dog was in good hands. They were very flexible and accommodating when our travel plans home got derailed and they have to keep her an extra two days. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for someone to spoil their dog while they are on vacation.
