Pet Sitting in Alexander

Makenzy was so wonderful taking care of our little pup!! She came to meet him beforehand, made sure she had all the information she needed, and treated him (and us!) with so much kindness! She even wrote us a thank you note and left us a gift!! We will definitely be using Makenzy again!!

My standoffish, untrusting, previously abused pit mix is warming up to Becky! She has been patient with my stubborn dog and we SO appreciate her!

Morgan was amazing. She was great at communicating with us. Took great care of our pup. A bear hit our trash can while we were away and she cleaned it up. Totally not expected but very much appreciated. Thank you.

Karly had great communication and I like that she sent a lot of pictures. It seems like my cat warmed up to her very quickly.

Alex was absolutely wonderful! He came out to meet the cats beforehand and really listened to all of the information and spent time getting to know the kitties. He also read through and followed my written directions which are pretty extensive. He has top notch written communication skills. I generally got a several paragraph update on the cats each day, long with lots of daily pictures, and the info he sent was always very understandable and thorough. Alex couldn’t do mornings, so I had other people filling in. One of them accidentally locked the cat in a room that was supposed to be kept closed. Alex noticed, even though this particular cat will not come out to see anyone ever, and expressed his concern to me That he didn’t notice her food was being eaten. He then spent quite a while searching for the cat and managed to find her, and carry her out, even though she was really scared. He cleaned up the mess she made, and she must’ve been pretty happy with him because he saw her every day after that. He even left notes for the other sitters as needed if things were not going well. He took care of plants and many other things on top of that, and the house was clean and spotless, with pictures of the water bowl, litter boxes, and food dishes every day. I feel totally comfortable leaving my cats in his care anytime!

Autumn was super friendly and so great with our girls! We asked her to just take our pups out to potty but she went above and beyond by taking them on a walk. Highly recommend!

Summer was so friendly and great with my dog! We are excited to have a pet sitter who is comfortable with a bigger dog and willing to come to Spruce Pine.

This was the first time I worked with Stephanie and she did a great job taking care of my two kittens who can be a little high maintenance. She played with them during her drop-ins and picked up after them - will definitely request to have her again.

Lyndsi has taken the best care of my dog while out of town. She sent thorough updates and photos multiple times a day so I always had peace of mind. I definitely recommend having Lyndsi care for your pets!

Isabel was great in a really tough scenario right after hurricane Helene when I couldn't get home and cell service was spotty so communication was difficult. But my cat was in good hands and was well taken care of. Thanks Isabel!

Another great experience with Alexis taking care of my dogs and cats while I was out of the country. She was very clear and consistent in her communication with me about what was happening with each pet each day, including pictures of each one. Even when one of my dogs had an accident and she cleaned it up with supplies I left out if that happened. Coming home, everything was in order and pretty much how I left it before I left. It was the easiest transition from away to being back home with my pets in a long time.

Dawn updated me with photos and comments and left things clean & goody when I returned home. Would book again!
