House Sitting in Blue Ridge

Betsy took excellent care of our fur babies and home during our weekend getaway! Two labs, one of which only five months old is no easy task, but she was up for the challenge.During our time away, she kept us well informed with updates and maintained a great sense of humor despite the crazy antics of duo. We’ll definitely use her again!

Amanda was great. This was the first time we have used Rover and choose her based on her reviews. She answered all my questions and did a meet and greet a week before staying at the house. We will definitely use her again.

Michael was an excellent communicator, very responsive, took great care of my dog Chase, and left the house spotless. I will be contacting him for future pet sitting needs and highly recommend him!

Fantastic communicator! This was the first time Heather cared for our pets and we're thrilled with her care and communication of any issues or questions. There were contractors that showed up un expectedly and the she let us know. She reinforced our rules with the furry ones which kept their behavior consistent. Much appreciated! We'll definitely contact Heather for our future pet care needs!

MaryBeth is Allie (our Dane) and dog parent approved! She was extremely communicative, caring, and professional from start to finish while housesitting and taking care of our big girl. She was respectful of our home and tuned into Allie’s specific physical and emotional needs right away. She is competent in different collar systems and gave our girl the right combination of snuggles and exercise. She has a gift! It’s rare to not worry about our dog when we are away but with Marybeth I can say I was relaxed and knew she was in capable and compassionate hands.

Brenda is very responsible and responds to messages immediately. She also sends pics and updates every day. We felt we could relax on our vacation. We will use her again.

Itzia was amazing! She watched our three large dogs while we were gone for the weekend. We had never used Rover before so I was a little anxious, but she made me feel at ease as soon as she came over to meet the pups the week before. Our dogs are all pretty loud and high energy, which can be intimidating and frustrating, but Itzia was nothing but sweet and patient with them. She also was a super respectful house guest. I told her she didn’t have to do any dishes or laundry, but she ran the dishwasher, washed the sheets and took our trash out. While we were gone she was very responsive, had excellent communication, and sent us lots of pictures and videos to let us know the dogs were doing okay. All in all, we had a wonderful experience with Itzia and will not hesitate to ask her to watch our pups again!

Emily rocks! Our dogs love her. We came home to happy, well exercised dogs! Our dogs can quarrel if given the opportunity but Emily has the experience and asks the right questions. Our dogs were very attended to with her and it showed. Emily is very professional yet warm, respectful of space, punctual and calm yet focused on our dogs’ needs and well-being. She provided photos and videos regularly during the week we were out of town which gave us peace of mind, and gave them plenty of walks and treats. She kept commands consistent and was eager to know how best to care for our pups. She’s really responsible and we felt assured it was good to trust her with the space and our 4 legged kids. She even watered the lawn, washed the guest sheets and rolled out the trash! She went above and beyond. We highly recommend her. She is a pleasure and understands dogs!

Giuliana was super awesome! I had to leave for a conference and had to find a last minute sitter for our 12 week old border collie. She was very communicative and knowledgeable I felt 100% comfortable with her care from the first moment! Doku warmed up to her very quickly and didn’t skip a beat from his normal routine. I would absolutely recommend her for puppy care, especially during the delicate developmental stages where puppies need extra TLC. She also took great care of our home and made sure the space stayed clean while we were away, above and beyond her duties! Awesome job!

Gabe was wonderful! He was very communicative and provided lots of pictures letting us know that our pets were comfortable. We have 2 anxious pups, so finding someone that they can settle in with can be a concern. We would certainly hire Gabe again!

Thyra was great - from the minute she stopped by for an introduction, she instantly connected with our girls (which isn't always an easy thing to do). She definitely understood how to relate well to them, and I felt completely at ease leaving her in our home with them for 5 days. On our 4th day away, I realized I had forgotten to tell Thyra to scoop the litter box on day 3....to which she replied she'd already been doing it every day since we left! What a relief. We came home to a clean home, clean sheets on the bed (amazing!!!), and happy pets. What more could you ask for? We'd definitely hire Thyra again. 👍

Ginger is paws down the best pet sitter we have had the pleasure of having care for our pets and our home. From the moment we met her on an initial meet and greet to her departure following our 10 day trip, she was fully engaged with our pets and their needs. Her daily communications with us while we were away were full of photos and “ news of the day”. Our pets warmed to her immediately and were relaxed upon our return. Our home was immaculate and our communications with Ginger on the day of our return made for a seamless transfer of care. We will enthusiastically invite Ginger to return to care for our pets and our home again.

Susan was incredible! This was the first time we left Milo with someone who was not family and he adjusted perfectly! Some might say he listened to Susan better than us at times ha. We will definitely be rebooking Susan in the future!

Kate is a rockstar pet sitter. Definitely will rebook any time we are out of town and need a sitter for our 2 pets. Great communication skills made our lives much easier and less stressful while out of town. 10 out of 10!
