Dog Boarding in Carrboro

We are thrilled to have found Vanessa. She and her kids were absolutely the perfect match for our small dog. Shelby is a rescue and typically hesitant to trust or attach; but during a brief meet-and-greet, we watched as she settled into Vanessa's arms with no sign of uneasiness. While we were subsequently away for almost two weeks, we received daily updates, videos and photos, and we saw that Vanessa and her kids were including Shelby in many of their daily activities. Without question, Shelby received loving attentive care and grew fond of this family. In fact, the first couple days after she returned home, she seemed to be searching our home for Vanessa and her kids at bedtime. We've always been carefully selective when choosing someone to take care of our dogs, but we do trust Vanessa, and we can see that she’s Shelby's choice!

Heather and her husband were wonderful, allowing us to come in advance to get acquainted with them and their place. They have a large backyard and lovely home, and provided video and picture updates.

Agus was an excellent dog sitter. We were very happy with how he took care of our canine daughter. It was easy to communicate with him, he provided updates as needed. His dog and ours hit it off so well that she seemed to have withdrawal from the "extended play date". We'll reach out to Agus anytime we need someone to watch our dog.

Evie and Fritz were fantastic sitters for our dog! I know they kept our dog entertained, gave him plenty of play time, and they have a large yard for him to get all his sniffing in. He was well cared for and I'd definitely recommend their sitting service and use them again in the future.

Maria was fantastic! She took great care of our dog and followed our instructions perfectly. She sent lots of photos of all the activities she did with our pup which made being away a lot easier. Would defiantly use her again!

Alice took excellent care of my mini dachshund, sending me daily photos and updates. Will definitely reach out to her the next time we need someone to look after our pup

Cathy took excellent care of my senior dog. She was also very good at communicating and answering our questions, sending lots of pictures. I'm happy that my dog received the same level of care and attention at Cathy's.

My beagle Darwin loves staying at Gregg's place, where he can romp around his large enclosure with the other dogs. Gregg is a really caring guy who went the extra mile to help Darwin with a digestive issue.

Millie had a great time with Megan! She responded quickly, sent updates during her stay, and took great care of Millie. I 100% recommend Megan and will definitely be booking again for future trips!

We were so nervous to leave our boy when we traveled all the way to Disney. The photos we got and the fun he had made all of our worry for away and we now know where he will be if we ever have to leave him again. Emily and Will are FABULOUS and he had so much fun with their dog.

I highly recommend Ashley and her family for dog sitting. My dog spent a wonderful week with them, and Ashley was very responsive, providing me with regular updates and plenty of pictures. They took excellent care of him, ensuring he had playtime, belly rubs, and walks. I will definitely ask them to dog sit again!

Naotake took great care of Monny while we were away. He was very thoughtful, communicative, and kept us updated throughout her stay. Monny can be a picky eater and is sensitive to heat, but he paid close attention to her needs and made us feel at ease. We especially appreciated his kindness and the detailed updates. We would definitely trust him with Monny again. Highly recommend!

Keon was awesome. He took my boy Brutus on super short notice, and Brutus had a ball. Thanks Bro

Elizabeth was a fantastic sitter! She did a thorough meet and greet and asked plenty of questions. She gave my dog all of the couch cuddles and affection she demanded and sent me daily check-ins / pictures of how my baby girl was doing throughout her entire stay.

Denise was willing to watch my 160lb male St Bernard so that says a lot to start. She did great getting him through the thunderstorms and even learned how to use a doggie door for the first time. Who knew he could fit! I know my boy enjoyed himself and we will be back!

Denise was incredibly sweet and attentive. She sent pictures and updates and made me feel at ease while away from my fur baby. I would book with her again in a heartbeat! 💕

This was our first time booking with Rover and Ashlee was a great host! She was very communicative throughout the whole process. After scheduling a meet and greet, we felt great about leaving our pup with her. Duke had a great time filled with lots of playing, which Ashlee made sure to capture and share with me while he was there. She maintained frequent contact throughout his stay which we greatly appreciated.
