Doggy Day Care in Lake Lure

We are visiting WNC from out of state and took our 9 month old puppy Otis to Kharen and Chips two time for day care while we were out and about. We are so glad we found them! They are very friendly, clearly love dogs and have a great set up for them in their house and yard. We'll be back-Otis had a great time !

Guinness doesn't get a chance to interact with other dogs very often. KaLynn was very calm and confident with him. He cried, but that's normal for him - she picked him up when he was trying to get back to us - and he calmed down. We are grateful to know she is in Asheville - will definitely use her again. She sent pix to of us which located her parking place - she's in a large complex - made it easy to find her; also pix of Guinness with her own dog and another dog dog she was "sitting". P.S. - her complex has a fantastic dog park!

Alyssa was great! She is super friendly and welcoming. We didn’t worry one bit about leaving our two boys with her. Her house is basically dog heaven with indoor and outdoor play areas all connected. Our boys had the best time with Alyssa, she sent us videos and photos throughout the day. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

Autumn and Josh are both very sweet and communicative! They took great care of our pup and gave us updates throughout her stay with them. Will definitely be repeat clients when the need arises in the future !

Robin watched our two dogs for the day while we were visiting Asheville for the first time. Both dogs made themselves at home, and she was awesome at sending photos and dealing with us calling to check up on our dogs. I would definitely use her services again if we're in the area!

Thank you Stephanie and Ida!! Cheeca had a wonderful time with you all and we felt extremely comfortable leaving her with you all for the day. We 100% recommend and we will use again next time we are in Asheville.

Jackie and Sammy are the absolute best! They are communicative and incredibly loving and patient. They have a fantastic yard and bonded immediately with my pup. You honestly can't ask for better puppy caregivers!

It was our first time having Buddy receive day/night care. He’s not quite 6 months old and definitely has lots of puppy energy; so, I was a bit nervous for the evening. Plus our outing was very last minute. As soon as I connected to Julie, I knew it was the right fit. She was prompt in communicating with me plus professional and pleasant. I was able to see her home to put my mind at ease when I dropped Buddy off, plus she sent me text messages and pictures of the evening. All of my nervousness completely melted away and I could enjoy our family evening out. The pick-up was smooth and seamless. I could tell Buddy thoroughly enjoyed himself. When I got home and unpacked his doggie bag, I found a beautiful note with 2 pictures of my Buddy. It was simply wonderful! I can’t say enough good things about Happy Hearts and Waggin Tails. We will definitely use Julie again!
