Dog Boarding in Mills River

Five stars all the way. We had to fly out of AVL for a few days and the parking there right now is challenging. We dropped our pup off, they drove us to the airport and when we returned we were picked up with our dog in the car. Aside from that experience, she had a blast and was a bit reluctant to leave her new human and canine friends. We will go to Ann & Jaren now every time we have to go away. Our dog loves all people and dogs so this was the perfect place for her. As they have 3 dogs of their own and often another Rover dog there it would be best to do a meet and greet the first time just to make sure they pups are all compatible. We did that and had no issues at all, only fun playmates.

Excellent sitter, very friendly, accommodating and nurturing to your fur babies. Ms. Diane took care of Rosie and Bruiser like they were her own, I could definitely tell they were well cared for and loved while I was away. Will definitely book Ms. Diane again. Thank you.

Erin and her family were outstanding! They took great care of my cat and sent me updates throughout my trip. I would highly recommend them!

KaLynn was so great! She sent us pictures and updates every day. One of our dogs was on antibiotics and the other one nursing an injury and she was very attentive and took great care of them. Would definitely love to have her watch them again :)

I was immediately comfortable with Kali for my elderly dog, and love her gentle manner with him. She fixed him a spot on the couch so he could look out the window, and gave me regular updates. I had a last-minute schedule change that she accommodated, too. We'll go back!

Calvin is one of the best pet sitters we've used. He communicates very well, is responsible with special instructions/medicines, and treats our pup like his own.

Deborah was a lovely host. Watson was happy to see me, but seemed to adapt quickly to her environment ... other dog friends (1 large and one small) ... so he felt right at home. She was accomodating and caring. I would recommend her and use her hosting services again.

I can’t say enough kind words about the expert care Emma receives when she is with Lacie. She is a special needs Havanese and receives special attention and care. Thank you Lacie!!

Katie is a wonderful pup caretaker and she kept me updated with multiple daily pictures and status updates. My dog was happy to be there and I was very relieved he was in her care while I was away. Would highly recommend!

We were not ready to leave our young puppy, but we were called out of town for a family event. We were grateful for Jordan's reassurances and texts letting us know that our dog was having a good time and that she was being cared for.

Kharen did a great job with our pup! We had to go out of town unexpectedly, and she was available at a short notice, which was much appreciated. Kharen made sure Oliver was well cared for, sent lots of updates/pictures and made sure he was comfortable by learning his usual schedule. Highly recommend, and would book again!

Adaira’s lovely home was perfect my boys! Had to take a last minute trip and she stepped in, offering them a loving and stimulating environment. The room my babies stayed in is so perfect — all sorts of perches and toys to enjoy. It’s basically cat heaven. Adaira sent updates each morning and evening along with pictures which I really appreciate. Thank you so much! :-)

My dog had a great time with Rick and his family. They even took him to the Biltmore for a day trip! Rick was very communicative the entire time and super flexible since I had to make some last minute changes to my booking.

Laura was great with June who can have some separation anxiety. She communicated daily and sent pictures everyday which of course made me feel better since this was my first time working with Laura. Highly recommend!

Ryan knows animal behavior quite well and is able to make a few cats and a few dogs living together work well. She had no problem administering medication to my dog.

Michelle and her family took excellent care of Mila. She sent photos and updates throughout the day and they even made homemade dog treats! We will definite booking with her again.

Thomas showed up on time to pick Willie saving me one more thing to do. He sent frequent pictures of Willie relaxing in Thomas 's home. Willie, while glad to be home did not seem to be stressed from being away from home

Lisa and Angie were fantastic! Communicated every day, sometimes multiple times a day if necessary. And the dogs enjoyed their care and companionship. Glad they will be taking them in again in the coming weeks when I have surgery or travel.

James helped me out when I found myself in a quandary about where to leave my dog during a non dog friendly family get together. My dog is my baby so I was very nervous but I met James at his home before hand and was immediately at ease. Property is large and beautiful and James is laid back and confident with dogs. Zena was scared when I left her but happy and relaxed when I picked her up. We plan on using him again in the next few days again.
