Dog Boarding in Mills River

Five stars all the way. We had to fly out of AVL for a few days and the parking there right now is challenging. We dropped our pup off, they drove us to the airport and when we returned we were picked up with our dog in the car. Aside from that experience, she had a blast and was a bit reluctant to leave her new human and canine friends. We will go to Ann & Jaren now every time we have to go away. Our dog loves all people and dogs so this was the perfect place for her. As they have 3 dogs of their own and often another Rover dog there it would be best to do a meet and greet the first time just to make sure they pups are all compatible. We did that and had no issues at all, only fun playmates.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Connie is responsive, friendly, caring, and the perfect dog sitter! She and her husband, Ron, have a great backyard that's perfect to let your pup run around and have a great time. Our little mal-shi really enjoyed her stay with them and we will definitely be rebooking anytime we have to go out of town. Such a weight off our shoulders knowing we have a trustworthy person to watch our pup when we need it! Thanks so much!!!!

Erin and her family welcomed Frankie and sent me pictures and videos updating me on what he was up to in my absence. Erin will be my first choice next time I need an overnight dog sitter!

We were very satisfied with Ellie’s stay at Lacie’s home. It was clean and inviting, the yard was fenced in, and her children and her pets all got along well with Ellie. Lacie is a very authentic person who clearly loves taking care of pets. She was very sweet with Ellie, taking her for walks and allowing her to sleep with them if she chose to! We highly recommend Lacie and will use her again.

Deborah and her family are very loving to their pets and visiting animals. Our little 9 lb dog settled right in to their home. Carly was happy and well cared for during her stay.

Carlina was fantastic! She loved our dog and took him in like he was her own. She kept us updated the entire trip and we never once worried about him. She let him sleep wherever he was most comfortable, which was huge for us! She has a sweet dog who was great with our dog and so sweet to love on! We will definitely use Carolina’s services again!

Jordan and her family were great with our Shih Poo, as always! Jordan is very kind and understanding with us when we travel, which never fails to come with surprises at the beginning and end. Thanks, Jordan and family! <3

KaLynn provided great care for our elderly dachshund. Lucy is anxious and frequently skips meals while boarding, but KaLynn worked with her and she ate well during her stay. Lucy got plenty of cuddles and outside time too. Highly recommend sending your pups to stay here!

Kali is absolutely wonderful! Lotus loves playing with Cosmo. Kali is very responsive, dependable, caring and I appreciate her willingness to work with our schedule. I always feel at ease leaving Lotus with her knowing she is in great hands. I highly recommend her!

These are the best dog sitters and people you will find in the Asheville area. Thank yall for everything you did for Harry! We will miss you dearly!!!

Kristin and Jack are amazing!!! We have three fairly high maintenance doggies (old, middle aged, and a puppy), and she accommodated all of them and even helped socialize our puppy. Felt completely comfortable leaving them with her and have already booked another stay. Thank you Kristin!! ?

This is the second time Pisco stayed with Alexis. And for a dog that is reluctant to leave his dad, Pisco jumped in the back of Alexis' car enthusiastically, and has a real bond with her and her son. Pisco enjoys his time with them - and Alexis keeps us updated with photos and regular checkins. While I don't like to leave Pisco, I feel he is safe and in good hands with Alexis.

We are so thankful to have found Charlene! Our 13 year old dog was relaxed and happy when we dropped him off and picked him up and so were we. Her daily updates were also very helpful.

Beautiful family that I felt immediately at ease with. Lincoln enjoyed every minute of his visit and his time with their sweet pup and girls!

Kharen was so wonderful - she definitely derives joy out of pet sitting, and was really kind to us as well as our dog, Balto! Kharen also has a huge backyard for dogs to play in! If I am in the area, I would definitely leave our dog with Kharen again.

Excellent sitter, very friendly, accommodating and nurturing to your fur babies. Ms. Diane took care of Rosie and Bruiser like they were her own, I could definitely tell they were well cared for and loved while I was away. Will definitely book Ms. Diane again. Thank you.

Sharon was so amazing! From the minute we booked until we picked our dog up, she was so sweet. She sent us pics and videos of our dog and spoiled her all weekend long! We could not have asked for a better pet sitter for our girl!

I cannot recommend Katie and Jeremy enough. Our golden retriever, Zoey, is always in a state of depression when she comes home with us because she misses them so much. She has the best time and is spoiled and loved by them. We’re very grateful to have their caring home available to her when we’re out of town.

Laura was wonderful with Tchaikovsky and with me, and her home an excellent place for Tchai when I attended an event in Asheville. Thank you for taking such good care of Tchaikovsky, Laura 😍

Calvin was so great for our little Dash!!! Dash seemed really happy during the stay and when we picked him up. Calvin kept us up to date daily with photos which was so sweet. We will definitely be using Calvin again for our dog sitting needs.
