Dog Boarding in Southern Shores

Nicole was so wonderful! A lovely home and it was clear Gimli was very cared for and loved! I would love to work with her again. Gimli has a prescription food and a couple of medications, and Nicole was totally good with that. Grateful for her care!

Sara took great care of Rosie this weekend. She provided updates and pics during her stay and we couldn’t be happier having Sara host our furball!

Michelle was AMAZING! My dog, Rory, loved her time with her. Michelle has a beautiful, clean, dog-friendly home, with a fenced-in yard. She took Rory for walks on the beach and sent daily texts with check-ins and photos. Highly recommend Michelle!!

Mrs. Rose and family took great care of our little Shirley. We feel very confident and comfortable with them. Our kitten was also comfortable. I believe she really enjoyed herself. We even received pictures as to how she was doing. It really put us at ease.

Gloria came through for me when I was left in a bind after my original Rover sitter cancelled 3 days before a week-long vacation. She and her husband, Nelson, were great with Rasi. Gloria was communicative in letting me know she would be at work during drop-off/pick-up, so I was able to leave her with him. I've never left Rasi this long with someone who wasn’t familiar to us, so while I would've loved a picture every day for my own peace of mind lol Gloria was able to send them when she could and was very responsive to my messages about Rasi's care. Rasi is high energy and super social, so it was also nice to see they had a dog of their own that she could play with. I would book with them again.

Christianna watched our puppy for a total of about 8 nights! She sent pictures and updates quite often and let us know daisy felt safe during the fourth of july fireworks. Christianna was polite and we felt comfortable leaving our fur-baby with her the second we met her!

Erin always takes such great care of our dog and she’s always so sad to leave. She gets to play with Erin’s cute dogs, gets tons of exercise running around in the big backyard, and she practically lives in the pool. Erin is super accommodating - we occasionally pick our dog up to come to the beach with us and Erin is always so flexible . She also sends tons of adorable pics and videos. So happy we got to let our dog come back here while we were here on vacation

Sam is great with small dogs! I left my Dachshund/Terrier mix with her for Christmas and she had a great time! Sam is also very communicative and flexible when unexpected scheduling things happen. Thank you so much for taking care of my Eva!

We highly recommend Melanie and Addison. Our Fozzie and Winton were in such great hands with them, and we loved receiving pictures while we were away. They were easy to communicate with, quickly responsive, house was very clean, and from the pictures they sent I could see our fur babies were happy. Thank you for taking such great care of our fur babies while we were away!

First time user of Rover.com. Theresa F. and family made it a great experience. Received pictures and updates throughout the weekly stay. Will definitely use again if we need boarding, I think the family atmosphere was less stressful for the dogs.

Leaving our dog with Taylor was the best decision we could've made! Taylor was professional, courteous, and obviously loved animals. Our dog seemed like a great fit for the environment offered, but as a spoiled 8-yr old, experienced some mood swings. Taylor recognized what our dog needed and accommodated her quirks. We received pictures of our dog, happy, and wagging her tail, getting the attention she loves. And the videos of my dog playing in the yard meant so much to us. We highly recommend Taylor as a warm, trustworthy, communicative caregiver for your pet
