Dog Boarding in Sunset Beach

I don’t know where to even start. Donna is absolutely amazing! My boy is incredibly anxious, and nervous and Donna handled him like a charm. She kept him so busy I don’t think he even had time to miss home. We could not have asked for anyone more caring and trustworthy to leave our boy with. Donna will be our go to from here on out. Thank you, Donna! We appreciate you so much!

Katelynn was wonderful. Very patient as this was our first time using Rover. Layla was well-cared for and the updates with photos made the whole process much less stressful. We will happily look to rebook when our next trip comes up!

Abigail was quick to respond to my request which was for the same day. I really enjoyed meeting her she was very personable. She took very good care of Sadie. I would recommend her to anyone seeking dog boarding.

Lara was great with our little guy Socks. I felt very comfortable with him being with her and her family. I will be looking for her availability in the future!

Danielle watched my 11 week old pup for me while I had to work this last week. I have never had anyone watch any of my dogs other than friends, family, or neighbors so this was all new to me. Right from the start, she made me feel very comfortable leaving Buckley in her care. She was very quick to respond, friendly, reliable, and willing to work with you in every way possible. She most definitely spoiled him and treated him like her own, which is all any pet owner can ask for and I can’t thank her enough for it! Highly recommend and will definitely be reaching out to her to watch Buckley again when needed.

Laura and Elijah are great! They took care of my elderly special needs dog while I was at a beach house that doesn’t allow pets. They took great care of her, sent regular updates, were flexible about pickup and drop off, and are just nice folks!

Kyle was available for a last minute drop off and was so flexible and understanding!

We had a GREAT experience with Yueqian! I left my 10 lb Shih tzu (Leo) and 15 lb Bernedoodle (Nellie) in her care and she made sure to go above and beyond. We received multiple pictures every day and she even made a chicken cake for Leo’s birthday! We also needed to pick them up in the middle of the week to take family pictures and she was completely accommodating. If we find ourselves back in Oak Island we will definitely use her again.

Kelsey had a wonderful time with Katherine. I was afraid Kelsey wouldn't want to come home she enjoyed herself so much! Katherine is a wonderful pet sitter. I could tell she truly enjoys taking care of pets. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring pet sitter.

Jennifer and Matthew D. were great. This was Taffy's first time being left with someone other than family. Jennifer sent pictures of Taffy so we knew she was being taken care of. They sent messages to us reassuring us that she was fine. They were very easy to work with when booking Taffy's stay . I will definitely be using them again!

We were so nervous to leave our puppy Auggi. Alicia and Van are amazing and felt like family! I could not ask for a better experience. We will be utilizing their services exclusively for our boy.

Trina did an amazing job. We were very apprehensive because Thor had only stayed in kennel in the past with his own space and we are new to the area. Trina was very good to give updates and send pictures of our guy. She was very attentive and made everything so easy. We will definitely use her in the future- everyone should!

Barley had the time of his life staying with Amy. He enjoyed playing with Luna and Zeke so much. It was just what he needed now that he’s 6 months old and learning social skills. They even helped him with his potty training. We’re so grateful that Amy would consider taking in a puppy as Barley can be a handful but Amy is absolutely amazing with dogs. We haven’t left Barley overnight much but we were completely at ease. Thanks again Amy. We’ll be back! Save room for us!

Debra was great with my Nika! She(Nika) gets very nervous during thunderstorms so I hate leaving her in the summer. Debra was very calm and a safe space for her to be even with a thunderstorm that came through during her overnight stay. She was very flexible with timing and it was a wonderful little getaway for me. I felt peace of mind as she sent updates while I was away.

Melissa was a pleasure to work with. She sent me pictures and updates while we were away and I def felt so comfortable leaving our dog with her. We will be using her again!

Stella provided excellent care for my babies. She was kind, caring and stayed in touch with us during our entire trip. That extra effort made leaving our babies behind so much easier. I would not hesitate to use Stella again. Stella provided 5 star care and I would highly recommend using her. Michelle

Joe & Celeste are wonderful! They are kind and caring sitters. Their home has a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room for our dogs to play and fetch balls. They also have a doggie door, which my dogs have yet to maneuver, but this is a great feature. We are so pleased with finding Joe & Celeste close to our home. Many thanks.

This was the first time we used Rover and Aunna. We couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience. She was very knowledgeable of animals and just the best person we could ask for with our dogs. We have two full grown labs and they were immediately at home with Aunna. She sent regular updates and photos of our dogs. Her property is a dogs dream. Thank you for looking after our pups, and we will definitely be using her services again. Highly recommend. She is right near Holden beach and oak island and perfect if you vacation and have pets.
