Cat Sitting in Swannanoa

Lilac was the most incredible cat sitter we’ve had. Not only did she send the cutest photos everyday, but she also took photos of our kitties eating and their water bowls to show us that they were eating and getting fresh water everyday. She was very communicative and accommodating. When lilac came over for her visit to meet the cats it was apparent that she knew what she was doing, that she was responsible and serious about her job, but also so excited to be working with our animals. Anyone who books with Lilac can be confident that their pets are being loved on and cared for!

Pamela is great! She is punctual and our kitty loves her! She communicates regularly. She even went the extra mile and replaced the batteries in our touch-activated faucet. Thanks Pamela!

Elizabeth took great care of our cats while we were away. While they’re too shy for socializing, she ensured that their food, water, and litter boxes were maintained. We would recommend Elizabeth and schedule with her again!

Anna was a natural with our Thora! She sent me lots of photos and little updates throughout her stay, and was very respectful and tidy in our home. Cera is amazing! She is kind, very responsive, and flexible. My mind was at ease knowing my cat was in the best hands while I was gone. She kept me updated with lots of adorable pictures and was happy to accommodate a couple other household tasks I asked her to do. I can't recommend Caitlin enough! Caitlin went above and beyond to make sure our pets felt safe, comfortable, and loved while we were away. We received regular updates, including photos and little notes about their day. Josey and Molly weren't just being "looked after"-they were genuinely cared for and treated like family. Alex was absolutely wonderful! He came out to meet the cats beforehand and really listened to all of the information and spent time getting to know the kitties. He also read through and followed my written directions which are pretty extensive. He has top notch written communication skills. I generally got a several paragraph update on the cats each day, long with lots of daily pictures, and the info he sent was always very understandable and thorough. Alex couldn’t do mornings, so I had other people filling in. One of them accidentally locked the cat in a room that was supposed to be kept closed. Alex noticed, even though this particular cat will not come out to see anyone ever, and expressed his concern to me That he didn’t notice her food was being eaten. He then spent quite a while searching for the cat and managed to find her, and carry her out, even though she was really scared. He cleaned up the mess she made, and she must’ve been pretty happy with him because he saw her every day after that. He even left notes for the other sitters as needed if things were not going well. He took care of plants and many other things on top of that, and the house was clean and spotless, with pictures of the water bowl, litter boxes, and food dishes every day. I feel totally comfortable leaving my cats in his care anytime!

James was a pleasure to work with! From a meet and greet before his first time sitting to check-ins with us at each visit, we loved having him taking care of our kitties. He was reliable, punctual, communicative, and we could tell he loved our babies as much as we do. Everything looked just as we left it when we returned and the cats hardly seemed to notice we were gone. Thank you, James!

We're a repeat fan of Tiffany! Due to her always showing up in the timeframe promised and being attentive to our care list for Dalton and Lucy, we are able to enjoy our time away without worry.

Sarah took wonderful care of our special needs cat and our home, and was able to accommodate our last minute booking when our other pet care fell through. She administered medicine three times a day, and was a proactive communicator who anticipated our needs. We received lots of photos of playtime & snuggles, and our kitty was relaxed and happy when we returned home from traveling. We definitely recommend Sarah for loving and competent pet care!
