Cat Sitting in Washington

This was the first time my partner and I left our cats longer than eight hours since we adopted them. I knew I wanted to make sure they had someone who could not only to feed them twice a day, but provide a presence for them. Jason took care of our cats while we were gone and when we arrived, it was like they hardly noticed we were gone. They were happy to see us, of course, but they were perfectly content and happy when we got home. Jason gave us constant updates and photos during our trip and honestly left our home better than he found it (we gave it an honest go of cleaning before leaving!). We will definitely try to book with Jason again should we take another trip.

Liz was dependable and followed all instructions perfectly. She also did a great job with staying in communication throughout her time as our pet sitter and left the pet with a clean and sanitary environment on the last day. We WILL be hiring Liz again! Thanks for everything and well done!

We were away on a 2.5 week vacation overseas, the longest we’ve been away from our cats. They are pretty low maintenance and are good as long as they have food and water, but we were worried about our long absence since they’re pretty cuddly and clingy. I did some research on pet sitting and found Charity through Rover and was immediately impressed with her stellar reviews and repeat clients! I reached out and explained our situation and she was so kind and receptive. We booked our sitting appointment for the full 2.5 weeks, and booked a meet and greet about a month before to walk through the apartment, meet our cats, and chat. Charity is so warm and easy to talk to, it’s as if we’d been friends a long time. During our vacay, she gave us daily updates with pictures despite the time zone difference, and made us feel at ease. It made enjoying our vacay that much easier knowing she was here every day taking care of our fur babies. Charity is a natural with animals, isn’t afraid to ask questions, and we will definitely work with her again for our next vacation! Thank you so much, Rover and Charity!
