House Sitting in Barrington

Kate is a wonderful pet sitter. She took great care of our pets and also was very neat while staying in our house. She kept in touch and sent photos which was really appreciated. It is not easy to leave pets, especially older pets, but it's such a relief to have someone like Kate who is trustworthy. We're very grateful for her help!

Booked her last minute for two nights and she was awesome. She took great care of my dog, made sure he got his walks, food, and plenty of company. I told her I didn’t need updates but she still sent pics and kept me in the loop, which I really appreciated. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!

I love that Melissa loves my cats! She takes such good care of them that I never have to worry about them when I’m gone.

thank you Amanda for taking such SPECTACULAR care of Odin and Freyja! Amanda truly treated them as if they were her own dogs while we were away for a week. I always get nervous leaving my fur children home but Amanda sent photos and videos throughout the week letting me know they were safe, happy, and being loved on! Amanda also left the house perfectly clean! Thank you Amanda, Odin and Freyja can’t wait to see you again!

We will be using Kate again! She was wonderful with Charlie and shared a lot of pictures during her day here with him.

Clarke took good care of our pup and house while we were away for a few days. She communicated as needed and sent periodic updates/pics. We had to leave home quite early due to travel arrangements and then arrive back late in the day. Clarke was flexible and worked with us on our time constraints. Our pup seemed content when we arrived home and was ready to play, play, play - something I think she and Clarke had done frequently. I would not hesitate to ask Clarke back to watch our pup again.

Chandler was awesome with our dog Loa. Lola is very wary of strangers, but Chandler won her over. He was very responsive, sent lots of pics, and left our home spotless! Will definitely use him again!

I recently moved to the east coast and I haven’t left my 2 year old rescue shepherd mix home alone before, Leah put me at ease right away when I had to leave him for a work trip. She came over to meet him, gave me her sweatshirt so he could get used to her smell, brought him a pup cup (he’s very susceptible to bribes 🙃) and this was all before the day she even watched him! She took him to the park and all sorts of adventures and I was getting so many updates, I swear he didn’t even want to come home to me after lol. I hate to leave a good review because I want to keep her for myself selfishly 😂 but she’s the best and will definitely be hitting her up again to hang with Benny!

My first experience using Rover to find a pet sitter worked out wonderfully. Noreen was a great choice and was very accommodating to my sometimes anxious labradoodle. She stuck to Leia’s “schedule” while fitting in long walks and visiting Noreen’s family farm. I highly recommend her services and hope to reserve her again for an overnight stay. You are truly appreciated Noreen!

I am so happy we found Erin on this site! I had never previously had someone stay at my home, but it was seamless! Meadow was a difficult assignment and Erin totally met the challenge. Meadow had surgery for her broken leg just a week prior to Erin taking over her care. Erin administered meds, kept her calm and quiet, and actually bonded with Meadow. We were attending a family wedding and because of her correspondence we felt totally at ease. I went from not attending to having a great time away because of Erin. I highly recommend Erin and would rehire her in a heartbeat. I know Meadow would appreciate seeing her again.
