House Sitting in Grantham

Rainie and family are absolutely wonderful! They moved things around in their schedule to to make a last minute request work, and we are so grateful! This is our first time on Rover and our sweet little dog has lots of medications and is reluctant to warm up to people, so we were a bit nervous about whether our pup would take medications from strangers for 11 days! So Rainie and her parents all came over to meet Meisha, and we could tell right away that they love animals and they had a calm and warmth to them that made our dog (and us!) very comfortable. Rainie’s parents (and Rainie, although her parents did it for us this time) are the most gentle, kind, patient dog whisperers and it went so well! They sent daily updates and photos so we knew everything was going well, so we could truly enjoy our vacation. They went above and beyond and thoroughly cleaned our house before we came home too, which was so thoughtful and generous! I would not hesitate to recommend Rainie and her family and they will be our go-to house and dog sitters from now on. Lovely, kind, and professional…..they are truly good people. Thank you Wiggy and Mary for treating Meisha like your own and loving her while we were away! And Rainie for being so accommodating and kind!!!!! ?

Anna was the absolute best! She checked in the day before we left to let us know her plan and check for any updates. She took such good care of both of dogs taking them on walks, soaking up the sun, and even backpacking our senior dog (no back leg function) around with her. She sent updates and photos so we knew they were in great hands. Our flight home was delayed so she even volunteered to stay a couple extra hours with them! We came home to a cleaner house then when we left (washed all the sheets and towels she used…. Above and beyond!!), and a sweet welcome home note! We will for sure be calling Anna again, she took the best care of both of our dogs and our home! Thank you is hardly enough.

Our first time using Rover and it will not be our last. Our scared little Dachshund is a rescue and terrified of abandonment so traditional boarding is out of the question for us. Jackie has generational ties to Sunapee area and strong connections to the community. She kindly came to our home twice before our trip to meet us and spend time getting to know Lilly. Lilly did bark at Jackie at first but settled in and clung to her (as we expected she would) the whole week we were gone. Jackie sent us a picture and kept us informed of Lilly's eating habits and general well-being. When we returned from our trip, Lilly was overjoyed to see us but she was not stressed--in fact she is her happy and playful self which tells us a lot. Our home is spotless and my plants are even happy (big smile). Thank you Jackie for your kindness. Five stars are not enough (big hugs) and kisses from Lilly.

Rae was amazing—very attentive to our dog Hazel and checked in regularly with photos and sweet updates.

If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with both your home and your fur baby Tessa is the person to book!!!! She took wonderful care of our dog and our home while we were away. From the moment we met her, we knew our dog was in great hands. She was attentive, loving, dependable, and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind. The biggest sign of how amazing she is? Our dog absolutely adored her and was genuinely sad to see her leave! That says more than anything we could write. It’s not easy finding someone you trust to care for the things that matter most, but Tessa exceeded every expectation. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and trustworthy dog sitter and house sitter. She treated our dog like family, and we came home to a happy pup and a well-cared-for home. We will definitely be asking Tessa to stay with our dog again!

I am an anxious pet parent, and always worry about my dogs when I go away. I didn’t worry about a thing when Cyan was watching them. She was so attentive, spent so much time with them and they absolutely adore her. Cyan sent me photos and kept me posted. Best petting sitting experience I’ve had! Highly recommend Cyan.

James was a great communicator. He was flexible, friendly and provided puppy updates. Would definitely recommend to others!

Kimberly did a great job watching our dog for a couple days, including overnight. She was easy to work with, very communicative before the dates and stayed in touch while we were away. The dog was happy and the house was well cared for. I recommend Kimberly to care for your pet.

Kaeleen was great! She was able to accommodate a last minute request from us, and took excellent care of Mocha while we were out of town. We would be happy to have her sit for Mocha at our house again.
