House Sitting in Portsmouth

Michael was exceptional as an in-house sitter for our two Labrador Retrievers. Both pups are just under two years old, are quite energetic and required regular walks and exercise. Michael provided this in spades and provided regular updates with accompanying photos. The dogs were clearly in their element. Michael arrived on time, came and went easily in our home and left no traces beyond a nice thank you note and small gift. We can recommend him without reservation; he would be our absolute first choice for an in-home sitter should we be traveling again without our two companions.

We were very nervous about using Rover for the first time with our babies, but Gavin was great! One of our dogs requires a muzzle and has fear based dog reactivity, and he handled her with grace and understanding. We would absolutely welcome Gavin back to our home to take care of our furry family members, and are so glad we found someone so reliable to care for them during our vacation.

Amanda was fantastic. She took great care of our home and fur babies. She sent multiple updates and photos each day. She asked questions when necessary and we could tell she was giving our animals lots of lot and attention. We will absolutely use Amanda when we travel again and recommend her to anyone looking for a great pet/house sitter!

Kristen was the best!!! Basil was in such good hands while I was away and I can't thank Kristen enough. She was highly communicative, responsive, and extremely caring about my pup. I would definitely recommend Kristen to take care of your furry buddy anytime.

Justina took incredible care of our two dogs. Coming off a horrible pet sitting experience last year, we were of course worried. She put our minds to rest immediately. Daily pictures and updates were amazing. Highly recommend Justina! Top notch care for our two.

Melody stayed with my dogs for 4 days, 3 nights, and she was amazing! One of my dogs is a bit high maintenance because he’ll eat his sister’s poo if given the chance, but Melody put the extra effort into managing that for us, despite the bad weather. The dogs just love her, and she kept me updated with pictures and videos. You know you have a great sitter when your dogs look at you like “funny that you think you still live here” when you get back from your trip 😅 (at least for that first few seconds before they went bonkers lol). Will definitely have her back again!

We booked Kate to house sit for the first time over a 2 day weekend. How lucky we were! Kate responds immediately to texts, arrived on time for a meet & great and instantly became a BFF with our 2 dogs, arrived on time for 2 night stay, very responsible and house was spotless when we came back. She was super flexible and easy to work with. Dogs still miss her as every morning they are still going into the room she slept in to look for her. Very much look forward to booking her again.

This was our second time having Jessica sit for us. As with last time, she took great care of our cat and home, sent us fantastic pictures throughout, and communicated with us on a regular basis. We had no worries that our cat would get his medicine and be taken very well care of!

Erin & Amanda did an amazing job caring for our dog, Freya, for five days. Sent updates and made traveling without our dog as stress free as possible. So grateful and would highly recommend.

Tati was so great with our dogs! It made me feel much more comfortable leaving them knowing they were in good hands. She was really communicative and sent pictures throughout the week. Will definitely use her again!

Dale was prompt and kept us informed throughout the two days we were away as well as sent pictures which set our minds at ease. Our two pups were well cared for and the house is the same as it was. She’s responsible and it shows that she cares for others pets. Would highly recommend her!

It was our first time leaving our pets for an overnight. We were very scepticale and anxious about leaving them. We are crazy pet parents with high expectations . James blew our expectations out of the water and made the entire process stress free! Great man and even greater to our pets. He did everything that was asked and went above and beyond to make sure not only our animals but we ourselves felt at ease and stress free. Great communication skills and was willing to accommodate all requests we asked of him. Incredible sitter and we will be rebooking anytime we have an event.
