House Sitting in Portsmouth

Melody stayed with my dogs for 4 days, 3 nights, and she was amazing! One of my dogs is a bit high maintenance because he’ll eat his sister’s poo if given the chance, but Melody put the extra effort into managing that for us, despite the bad weather. The dogs just love her, and she kept me updated with pictures and videos. You know you have a great sitter when your dogs look at you like “funny that you think you still live here” when you get back from your trip 😅 (at least for that first few seconds before they went bonkers lol). Will definitely have her back again!

Michael is an absolute gem of a dog-sitter! He cared for our two Shih Tzus, Mack and especially Dennis, who’s recovering from a broken leg, with such patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection. Managing Dennis’ medications and constant supervision is no small feat, but Michael handled it with ease and compassion. Beyond caring for the dogs, he treated our home with incredible respect. He took out the trash, stripped the bed, started the laundry, and even left fresh flowers and a Yankee Candle scent warmer glowing. I came home to soft lighting, the cozy scent of “Harvest Time,” and two happy pups. It felt like a warm welcome home. Michael goes above and beyond in every way. We’re so grateful to have found him and can’t recommend him highly enough!

Julianne has dog-sat for me twice while I've been away on travel. My dog can be anxious and has some special accommodations. Julianne was very willing to accommodate my dogs schedule, asked questions in preparation, checked in with me each day, and sent photos. When I came home both times, my dog seemed comfortable and happy, and the house looked in order and taken care of. I would definitely recommend Julianne.

Jessica saved me! I had a long-planned, much-needed trip that was almost derailed when my scheduled catsitter had to leave suddenly to be with a dying parent. On very short notice, Jessica was able to do 3 overnights and 4 daytime visits. She sent lots of photos and I could see my very active cat was happy, getting lots of playtime, and well taken care of. I am so grateful that it worked out and will definitely use Jessica again when the need arises.

Tati went above and beyond when taking care of our furry family members, sending lots of photos and asking questions whenever anything was unclear. We are so grateful we found Tati and look forward to booking her services again in the near future!

Kristen is awesome! She has cared for our dog Nora a few times now. Nora has separation anxiety which makes caring for her a full-time job. Kristen has been so kind and loving with Nora and willing to take on her challenges. Kristen is very dependable. We have had some early morning departures and late night arrivals and she is always on time. We trust Kristen and highly recommend her!

Patrick was wonderful with our two dogs. He took time to get to know the dogs and us prior to staying with our dogs for a week by taking them for a walk and visiting or home two times. HE was excellent with communication, kept our house clean, and most importantly provided excellent care for our dogs.

Martha took such great care of our dog, Kip, and our home while we were away for the weekend! Kip is a high energy dog that requires a lot of attention, and Martha was so great with him! She sent us lots of pictures and updates too. We'd definitely work with her again :)

Erin and Amanda were so delightful to work with. We received photos and updates over the 12 days we were traveling and they took great care of the house. We can’t recommend them enough. It could not have been smoother.

It was our first time leaving our pets for an overnight. We were very scepticale and anxious about leaving them. We are crazy pet parents with high expectations . James blew our expectations out of the water and made the entire process stress free! Great man and even greater to our pets. He did everything that was asked and went above and beyond to make sure not only our animals but we ourselves felt at ease and stress free. Great communication skills and was willing to accommodate all requests we asked of him. Incredible sitter and we will be rebooking anytime we have an event.

elise was flexible and responsive and i think my dog likes her more than he likes me now. 10/10 would recommend.

thank you Amanda for taking such SPECTACULAR care of Odin and Freyja! Amanda truly treated them as if they were her own dogs while we were away for a week. I always get nervous leaving my fur children home but Amanda sent photos and videos throughout the week letting me know they were safe, happy, and being loved on! Amanda also left the house perfectly clean! Thank you Amanda, Odin and Freyja can’t wait to see you again!

Caley and Samm were wonderful! My dog is older and requires alot of extra help getting up and down, has incontinence issues, and is skiddish around new people. He warmed up to these two very quickly! I also got a sweet photo shoot of my pup that I can cherish for years to come. Highly recomend these ladies.

Gavin was great! My cats are notoriously shy with new people. Gavin made the effort to find them in their hiding spots to make sure they were okay and then gave them their space to let them warm up on their own terms. I felt very comfortable leaving my cats in Gavin’s care and would love for him to watch them again.
