Dog Boarding in Canova

Elthea & Joshua were great with our furbaby Dixie while we were nearby at Ojo Caliente! They were calm, very friendly, and welcoming. They and their dogs helped Dixie feel comfortable. She made a BFF with their youngest. Their fenced-in yard is HUGE and they have a large room with sofas for Dixie and other dogs to be in. They were aware of Dixie's interaction with the other dogs and made sure the one that interacted with her the best was with her! We will definately bring her over to their house again!

Dawn took excellent care of our pup and has a good space with room for the dogs to run around. We will be booking with her again in the future!

Excellent care and accommodations! Very dog friendly and considerate! The enclosed yard is huge and shaded. My big dog is rather autistic and more dog-centric. She didn’t want to leave!! She had a wonderful vacation. Our smaller dog is a big baby, but she learned that there was absolutely nothing wrong with her world at this house. Wonderful communication with pics gave us the reassurance that we needed to enjoy our own vacation.

Amanda was great! She was very communicative, was good at troubleshooting food issues when our senior pup refused food (added warm water and treats on top), gave us photos and brief updates daily. We felt so comfortable having our pups in her care. When we met before our pups stay, she had a list of questions and took notes while we went through them together. I would not hesitate to book again ☺️

We absolutely love Jess! We’ve booked her twice now and she has been great with our pup. She sends videos and is very attentive and responds quickly. Definitely recommend!

Lynn is a wonderful person. This was my Cashew’s first time being away from home and Lynn made her right at home. Lynn sent photos to me and that made me assured the Cashew was doing ok.

Bonnie was absolutely wonderful with Kion.. she accepted our overnight booking last min right after Christmas in the busy Taos ski town area which we truly appreciated…she sent multiple updates throughout the day with pictures, giving us great peace of mind. Kion enjoyed plenty of playtime with lots of toys and even got to play with her dog… it’s clear she genuinely cares and treats pets like her own… highly recommend Bonnie and would happily book with her again..

Someone wrote in a review that they had “won the lottery” when they found Chandra and they were 100% accurate! Chandra is such an amazing person who deeply cares about the pups staying with her. She sent regular updates and photos and went above and beyond in so many ways with my pup. I can’t express how grateful I am to Chandra for caring for my pup like she was one of her own. It’s obvious that my pup had an exceptional stay. She returned relaxed, happy and, most importantly, safe and sound. I’m positive my pup can’t wait to have another stay with her and her pups! This beautiful and amazing lady made us feel so welcomed and she was a huge part of the success of our trip. Last minute, she helped us finish off our teen's christmas' gift by taking care of our pet Prince while we took him to ski. We didn't have anyone to watch over our pet while we went skiing. She found a solution to our struggles and treated him as his own. We know he's a sweet dog, but he's a barker and he usually does not get along with other dogs. So she accommodated him in a way we all felt ok with leaving him for a few of hours. Her place was lovely and it was cozy and I'm sure our baby was comfy, even when he didn't know her beforehand. She was so patient, knowledgeable and kind and I'm so happy we found someone so special during our trip!
