Dog Boarding in Chimayo

Dawn took excellent care of our pup and has a good space with room for the dogs to run around. We will be booking with her again in the future!

Amanda was great! She was very communicative, was good at troubleshooting food issues when our senior pup refused food (added warm water and treats on top), gave us photos and brief updates daily. We felt so comfortable having our pups in her care. When we met before our pups stay, she had a list of questions and took notes while we went through them together. I would not hesitate to book again ☺️

We are so glad that we found Thea and Josh in Alcalde to take care of our Coco while we were traveling for an extended break. They took great care of her, took tons of pictures and shared updates with us daily, and communicated very well throughout the care period as things popped up. From the pictures we could see how happy our Coco was with her time at their home. They also care for numerous other dogs (and cats) of all ages, and it was also clear how quickly our dog was able to form friendships with a majority of their clan. It all points to a loving home where the animals feel safe and secure. We would highly recommend Thea and Josh to care for your loved one.

Smokey is now a regular at Katie’s and I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I leave town whether it’s a couple days or a couple weeks I feel fully supported and at ease knowing that my pup is in the best hands possible. As long as Katie and her pup Peter will stand Smokey and his shenanigans , we will be back.

Stephanie and her family were wonderful with Pickle. She sent lots of adorable photo updates showing how much fun he was having, and it was clear he felt right at home. I’m pretty sure Pickle didn’t want to leave! We’d happily book with Stephanie again.

Kendell was very attentive and my creatures look happy after their stay with her. She sent many pictures of them everyday and interesting and loving descriptions of what they did and how they behaved. I would certainly leave Beau and Jadoo with her again! Thank you!!

Tucker had a short stay with Angel since this was our first time using Rover, but everything went well and we will likely be rebooking with her. He seems to have enjoyed his time there and Angel sent us pictures of him settling in, going on a walk and just hanging out.

It was easy and great to have Calista take care of our Parker.

It was great for our kiddo to stay with Mayra. She was responsive and flexible when our timing changed. She handled our high energy dog very professionally in addition to being warm and caring. Clearly she is experienced in addition to being kind. Our girl seemed happy and calm when I picked her up. We’d happily book with her again!

Jess has kept our two dogs a few times now, and they both adore her! Her yard and home are so safe and comfortable, they’re always excited to see her!

Rachel took great care of our dogs JoJo and Oakie, who had very different needs and energy levels. She set reasonable expectations with us during our meet and greet, and exceeded the expectations. She was communicative and seemed to truly enjoy our dogs’ company. Our dogs came home clean and well-exercised. We would 100% hire her again!

Melinda was so easy to work with! She took great care of our two pups and sent updates so we felt at ease being away from our babies. I would definitely recommend and book services with her in the future.

Jessica did really well by Harley and Tollie. They came home obviously taken care of well. I will use her from now on. She was always very flexible with drop off and pick up. Kept the boys safe and happy.

Everything went great. Lily was super responsive during the trip. She sent pictures and gave me frequent updates. We did a meet and greet ahead of time. It was good to see that she cared about making sure Nav was a good fit first. I would book with her again.

Joy watched my eccentric little Yorkie over Thanksgiving and honestly I cannot recommend her highly enough. He was happy and healthy and almost glowing when I picked him up. Ari is quirky, and I always feel anxious the first time I leave him with a new sitter. Joy was wonderful with him, and sent pictures throughout his stay. Hoping she's available the next time I travel :)

Michelle was really easy to communicate with and easy to coordinate everything. Our dogs loved staying with her for a few nights. Would definitely recommend her to anyone needing some pet sitting done

Laurie was great - flexible, communicative and wonderful with my quirky little Yorkie. She is calm and centered, very attuned to the a pet's emotional state. Responsible, easy to work with. Nothing but positive things to say about Laurie! I hope to use her again for an upcoming trip in the Fall
