House Sitting in Cochiti Lake

Lydia is a gem and we feel fortunate to have found her. We hired her to look after our house and Mini Bernedoodle for a 5-night stay. She was attentive, kind, and communicative. Lydia provided the perfect amount of contact and dog updates without having to ask. Moreover, she actually stayed at our house consistently—we didn’t have to worry about her leaving for other jobs or only being there at key times (i.e., our dog’s feeding time). We highly recommend Lydia and feel relieved to have finally found a reliable and lovely person to house and dog sit for us in the future.

Savanah was fantastic!! She has sat for me for four days and provided continuous updates and pictures of my pups. I came back to happy dogs and a clean home. My dogs loved having her over and we’re sad to see her go. Savanah went above and beyond and it is gonna be my recommendation to anybody that needs a house sitter.

Rhiannon is amazing, reliable, very responsive and just a perfect pet sitter. My dogs love her and feel very comfortable being with her. When Rhiannon stays with my dogs I know they will get the best care in the world. Also, everytime I come back after being gone for few weeks, the house looks just like I left it.

Laurie did a fantastic job with our puppy Hazel who is only 11 weeks old. She’s a real handful and Laurie was very patient with her (and us!). We really appreciate the extra effort and attention to detail she took to ensure Hazel was safe and happy. Laurie also took great care of our house which was spotless when we returned. We would definitely book her again.

She’s fabulous. Not only did my dog love her, I made a new friend too. I feel so comfortable with her at the house and taking care of Peachy. ❤️ Thank you!!!!

Rita was great with Roxy! I got 2-3 updates a day with photos. I know she was well loved when I was gone. I will definitely use Rita in the future; and I would recommend her to anyone in the area! Thank you Rita!

This is the second time we have used Juan to watch our dogs. We always get updates and our dogs are treated very well. I would definitely recommend him to other people.

Jerrett was phenomenal. He made this whole experience easy and fun for the pups. They loved spending time with him and we loved being able to leave them with such a reliable person. He kept us updated with pictures and videos and made sure we always had peace of mind. It was our first time leaving them with someone other than family and we will definitely choose him for our next travels.

10 star experience! This was our first time using Rover and we were more than happy with Chase’s care. Our dog was happy and relaxed when we returned home and our home was left the way it was when we left. Fabulous communication throughout our absence. Hope to have Chase stay with our boy many times again!

A dedicated, trustworthy sitter. Daniel went the extra mile in so many regards for us yet again, we wouldn't have anyone else. Our 2025 Christmas trip ended in a twelve hour delay through Ohare International. Daniel was gracious and accommodated us through that delay, kept us updated, and stayed flexible as weather and other unforeseen issues kept cropping up late into the night. Arriving home at 4am to well cared for dogs and hotel level preparations + cleaning was amazing. It isn't the first time Daniel has left the place better than he found it; it's an extraordinary level of care for a home. The most important thing is the care he gives our pups. It's easy to see that they've had the company they needed. They're not in a panic and they're properly fed. We have three fifty pound females that are a handful. They don't like to eat when we're gone, and they have resource guarding problems that Daniel has always managed extremely well. This time was no exception. We got daily pictures and updates and the ladies ate every day which is no small feat. I'm sure we're going to still be finding the above-and-beyond things he did for us for the next several days. Laundered linens, bonus snacks, and pressure-washed patio pavement (just cause he likes doing it!) are the tip of the iceberg. We're so grateful to have managed to book him in time for this trip, holiday travel is stressful enough and not having to worry about our ladies or home is the biggest relief. Thank you Daniel!

Paloma was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter. She took great care of my pets and kept my home tidy while I was away. Her communication was consistent and reassuring, and I came back to very happy animals. Highly recommend!

She was a good communicator, contact and photos every day, took good care of my house and brought in mail and packages as requested, spent lots of time with my dog which is super appreciated, and was able to help me out when another sitter had to cancel last minute! Hannah was amazing! our cat was injured last minute before our trip, and she was so caring and flexible with us and our last minute changes and complications, and stepped up to give pain pills and extra care. Sky adored her and we appreciated all the updates and photos she sent. she made us feel a lot of ease while leaving our healing kitty in her hands.

Where do I start.....Mel is amazing, and wonderful, rolled up in dog whisper enchilada. He was the answer to my prayers as this is the first time leaving my 3 dogs with anybody, and using Rover. Three large rescue boys and they loved Mel. Mel included text and pictures the whole time I was away, providing me with a peace of mind. Great communication. He is my dream come true.
