House Sitting in Madrid

Lydia is the ultimate house/cat sitter! I can’t believe I found her, with the Rover connection. Super friendly and charming, very conscientious, and on top of things. The kitties were so mellow upon our return. She responds quickly and sent photos. I give her a billion star rating! (But I didn’t see that option!) Thank you so much Lydia, see you next time!

Rhiannon is on top of everything!!! My dogs were very happy to be with Rhiannon. House is sparkling. I am very impressed with her housesitting.

She’s fabulous. Not only did my dog love her, I made a new friend too. I feel so comfortable with her at the house and taking care of Peachy. ❤️ Thank you!!!!

Jerrett was phenomenal. He made this whole experience easy and fun for the pups. They loved spending time with him and we loved being able to leave them with such a reliable person. He kept us updated with pictures and videos and made sure we always had peace of mind. It was our first time leaving them with someone other than family and we will definitely choose him for our next travels.

I’m couldn’t ask for better than Madison! Not only did she take great care of our baby boy but she also made sure we came home to a clean house! We will be booking her again very soon!

If it was possible to give Karen Joyce 10 stars on this review, we would. She did such an exceptional job housesitting and dog sitting; we would highly recommend her in any situation. Our dog had a unexpected medical emergency in the middle of her stay, and Karen Joyce got her to the emergency vet, took care of her and kept us constantly informed until we were able to get back home. She was so loving and wonderful with Georgia in such a scary situation,we will be forever grateful of the kindness and care that she showed our dogs. We know that not every dog sitter is equipped to handle an emergency, and handle it so well. Plus, she is just a lovely person and clearly loves the dogs she takes care of. I feel so blessed to have found Laurie. She has sat for us several times, most recently for a 3-week period. My two dogs are crazy for her and she is so sweet and patient with them. Recently, one of our dogs developed some health issues. Laurie administered oral meds and even took our pup to the vet for her follow up visit. She is very responsible, conscientious, and a great communicator. We already have her booked for two other stays. I can’t recommend her enough!

Where do I start.....Mel is amazing, and wonderful, rolled up in dog whisper enchilada. He was the answer to my prayers as this is the first time leaving my 3 dogs with anybody, and using Rover. Three large rescue boys and they loved Mel. Mel included text and pictures the whole time I was away, providing me with a peace of mind. Great communication. He is my dream come true.

Lis has dog/house sat for us a few times before but this was the longest time we’d ever left our dogs at one time. I couldn’t have asked for a better, more competent person to be with them. One of our dogs had a serious medical situation occur towards the beginning of our trip and Lis handled it with such care. It was stressful being a continent away from our pups when something like this was happening but Lis did a fantastic job not only managing the care of our injured pup, but caring for the two others as well. Thanks to her phenomenal care our pup is fine now. I am so grateful for Lis and would recommend her to folks looking to make sure their most precious animals are well cared for in their absence.

Brooke is the best! We were extremely happy with the care she put into our pups. Absolutely would hire again!
