House Sitting in Madrid

Reliable and conscientious. Worked thru illness and lots of snow. Willing to change her schedule when I booked the sit wrong and was already on my way out of town! Not super experienced with cats (I was in a shelter beh department and my mom bred cats so my baseline is high) but reading and learning. Also learning R+ training! My cat was not as frantic as she usually is when I got home after being gone almost two weeks. So she clearly got lots of attention. Plus she continued meowing for Rhiannon and checking the doors even when she had me. And no new undesirable behaviors. Also I'd left the house excessively clean because I had guests coming and was pleased to find it just as clean when I got home.

Olivier is the best! He’s very communicative, reliable, and really seems to love dogs. He went above and beyond to make our dogs comfortable while we were away and we highly recommend him.

Jerrett was phenomenal. He made this whole experience easy and fun for the pups. They loved spending time with him and we loved being able to leave them with such a reliable person. He kept us updated with pictures and videos and made sure we always had peace of mind. It was our first time leaving them with someone other than family and we will definitely choose him for our next travels.

Bianca was a wonderful dog sitter. I felt safe to leave my dog who was healing from surgery with her. She took excellent care of him and was thoughtful about every aspect of taking care of Vala. I would definitely recommend her services

Mona was very responsive, concientious and loving with our two pups. We have a rambunctious Golden adolescent and a senior lab. Mona was able to give both our dogs the individual attention they need and the pups loved her. Would not hesitate to use Mona again!

As always, just awesome. Always feel like my boys are safe & well cared for.

Lydia was great! I felt comfortable being away for two weeks and having her housesit and take care of my dog. She communicated in a timely manner, she left my house the same way as I left it before my trip and I didn’t need to come home to clean it. Will be reaching out to her for more dog sitting opportunities.

I’m couldn’t ask for better than Madison! Not only did she take great care of our baby boy but she also made sure we came home to a clean house! We will be booking her again very soon!

Where do I start.....Mel is amazing, and wonderful, rolled up in dog whisper enchilada. He was the answer to my prayers as this is the first time leaving my 3 dogs with anybody, and using Rover. Three large rescue boys and they loved Mel. Mel included text and pictures the whole time I was away, providing me with a peace of mind. Great communication. He is my dream come true.

10 star experience! This was our first time using Rover and we were more than happy with Chase’s care. Our dog was happy and relaxed when we returned home and our home was left the way it was when we left. Fabulous communication throughout our absence. Hope to have Chase stay with our boy many times again!

If it was possible to give Karen Joyce 10 stars on this review, we would. She did such an exceptional job housesitting and dog sitting; we would highly recommend her in any situation. Our dog had a unexpected medical emergency in the middle of her stay, and Karen Joyce got her to the emergency vet, took care of her and kept us constantly informed until we were able to get back home. She was so loving and wonderful with Georgia in such a scary situation,we will be forever grateful of the kindness and care that she showed our dogs. We know that not every dog sitter is equipped to handle an emergency, and handle it so well. Plus, she is just a lovely person and clearly loves the dogs she takes care of. Kaleigh stayed at our home and watched our two pups for a weekend. She was great! Booking was so easy. She was very responsive and we were able to schedule a call the same day to talk over details. She bonded with our pups right away and sent us cute photos during our trip. She left our home in great condition- you’d never even know she was there. When asked, Seb and Penny (our pups) gave her four paws up and are looking forward to the next hang out with their new friend :) you won’t regret booking with Kaleigh. THANK YOU!

Laurie did a fantastic job with our puppy Hazel who is only 11 weeks old. She’s a real handful and Laurie was very patient with her (and us!). We really appreciate the extra effort and attention to detail she took to ensure Hazel was safe and happy. Laurie also took great care of our house which was spotless when we returned. We would definitely book her again.
