Dog Boarding in Peralta

Our pup had such a great time- great play and sleep spaces, patient and friendly dog pals and Karen checked with fantastic pics of our dog enjoying her stay. Couldn't have asked for better care or environment!!

Rosalia was wonderful with my dog, Jake! I could not have asked for better attention and love for my 15 year old Bichon. She sent me daily updates and pictures, and Jake was welcomed into her most comfortable home as if he was her own special dog. Jake had a wonderful week with Rosalia!

Jacqulyn was awesome with my Javier! I was nervous about leaving him with a sitter with large dogs so I knew a lady with chihuahuas could take care of my chihuahua. She sent a photo nearly every day and his ears were always up so I knew he was comfortable with Jacqulyn and her dogs. He enjoyed “Chihuahua wash Wednesdays” and smelled better when I picked him up then when I dropped him off. I will definitely use Jacqulyn again! Would recommend to a nervous small dog owner.

Pat deserves five stars. This is my first experience with Rover.com and of course I chose Pat because of her convenient location for my needs and her great reviews. I'm in my 60s, work from home. Piper is my constant companion. Piper has only been boarded at a facility that also has a veterinary practice onsite. They provide regular or climate controlled luxury suites, Yappy Hour with Frosty Paws and an option for your pet to watch TV on sofas with staff. I was nervous about trying something new, because Piper is always so happy to go there! But, it was time to branch out for convenience and it would be great if it worked out. I spoke to Pat on the phone and decided to give her a try. She was accommodating on pretty short notice. We arrived and Piper immediately started pacing and acting anxious in the fenced front yard. Piper was an extremely shy rescue and her behavior reminded me of when I first met her. I noticed that, but figured it was normal because of the new experience. Pat met us at the door and invited us to the backyard to meet the other dogs outside before entering the house. She has done a lot of troubleshooting to make sure the dogs are acclimated to each other and safely confined when outdoors. It would be very difficult for one to "escape". There were more dogs than I had anticipated, but she has impressive command of the pups in her care, without being stern. They were all smaller dogs. Piper at 48 lbs was the biggest. Pat must also have incredible organization skills. Piper is dog and cat friendly, and after they had their meet and greet, we entered the house. This is the home of an animal lover, which is obvious. Pat dedicates her day to those in her care. The living room is where the dogs hang out with Pat. The TV was on, for ambient noise. There were various dog beds on the floor for each little kid and a sofa with a dog friendly cover on it in case that's the favorite place for a pooch. (Piper wound up there.) There were crates for dogs that were more comfortable in one. We left Piper, and I admit I was still a little uneasy because there were more dogs than I had imagined. A couple of hours later, I received a text from Pat and photo of Piper and all looked well. We exchanged a few more texts and photos and I felt certain that Piper was in good hands. Piper ate Pat's home cooked food in the morning and seemed calm and happy when we picked her up. The final test will be when we use Pat again and approach the house. I have a feeling the second time at Pat's will have Piper looking forward to seeing her new friends. We'll find that out soon.

Maellen stepped up to take care of my 10 year old Australian Shepard, Jude, after a previous sitter told me she was unavailable right as I was about to book her. I couldn't be more happy with this twist of fate. Maellen took care of my precious Jude for a full 30 days! Having never left Jude in the entire 10 years I've had her, I was extremely nervous. Maellen put my fears to rest and assured me that Jude was in good hands. She proved that to be 100% correct! The daily videos and pictures showed me that Jude was very well taken care of. Jude's happy and playful personality shined through to exemplify that. Maellen went so far as to keep up with Jude's training and shared that with me as well. I'm forever grateful to Maellen for the compassionate, loving care she showed both Jude and myself during my time away. Should I ever find myself in need of a sitter, I will definitely reach out to Maellen first!! I don't hesitate in recommending her for any of your pet's needs as well!!! She's top notch in my book!! Thank you, Maellen!!!!!

Cecilia was so welcoming to our dog Wally, who thrives with lots of love and snuggles. We felt so happy to leave him in such a warm and loving home and we know he had a great time while we were away. Cecilia's house is perfect for hosting dogs, with plenty of places to lounge and access to the yard whenever needed. Communication was seamless as well! Highly recommend Cecilia for any dog looking for a peaceful, safe, and loving home away from home :)

Rachal was amazing! She was so accommodating with my last-minute booking, and made my cat feel right at home! Thank you so much for taking such great care of her and making her feel right at home!

Joshua is so conscientious and so caring that I really felt comfortable leaving my dog Max who is fairly anxious. Josh is also a good listener so that helps a lot when your dog is older and taking medication. He was very understanding about Max‘s efforts to lose weight and I know he tried to help with that, where in the past I have used sitters who secretly feed and already overweight dog too many snacks. Joshua‘s dog is also very well behaved and doesn’t mind other dogs at all. The backyard looks like doggy paradise

Jamie is the best! She was available snd responsive with zero days notice and she's great with dogs. The whole family home is oriented around dogs and Zumi got to play and swim in the pool and had a great time. I recommend them strongly!

I boarded my dog with Courtnay for several days. She was patient and used positive reinforcement with my young pup. Courtnay also regularly communicated updates and sent a lot of photos while Spencer was in her care. I would definitely trust his care with her again.
