Doggy Day Care in Portales

Courtney was so attentive and caring of Sequoia! She sent great pictures and walked her and took her to the dog park! She also gave her a bathe, which we greatly appreciated!

I was super nervous to put my dog in daycare while I was starting a new job because he has severe separation anxiety and overall can just be a lot to handle. We also just had a big move to Clovis, so he was extra nervous with all the changes happening around him. He’s had such a hard time in the past when left alone that he’s chewed doorknobs to the point where a tightly closed and locked door will open and has tried so hard to get out of a kennel that he’s hurt himself in the process. So he definitely needed to be with someone pretty much constantly. I was fully expecting to put him in daycare and dread any sort of text from the sitter while at work. I was worried they would say he barks too much, is too loud, or is too clingy for them to handle and it wouldn’t work out. Now every time I’m updated during my work day, I smile before even opening the messages. It’s always something good about my pup or the cutest pictures of him having the best time with his new friends. Alison was such a joy to meet with and immediately put me at ease about the entire situation. I told her everything about my guy and why I was nervous. She assured me that her own dog has similar issues and she wasn't worried in the slightest, meanwhile I was a wreck...but not for long. When I dropped him off for our initial meet and greet, I was immediately getting texts, photos, and videos of my little guy being an absolute angel for her, which made me feel so much better about having to leave him for longer periods throughout the work week. He took to her and her pups in no time! He’d never been around cats before, but loved barking at the outdoor cats in our old neighborhood, so I thought that could be an issue, but he loved her cats too. I’m really not sure what she does to create such a relaxed environment and get him to be such a perfect little guy during their time together, but I wish I could bottle it! On his first Saturday with me at home after 6 straight days with Alison and her pups, he was fine sleeping in for a couple hours since he was so worn out, but then he was ready to go back and was sad when we took a short drive and I didn’t turn toward Alison’s house! Do yourself a huge favor and book with Alison. You'll be able to relax knowing that she knows what she's doing. She’ll treat your pups as if they were her own, and you'll be able to fully focus on work or whatever else you need to do! I'm so grateful we found her!
