Cat Sitting in Astoria

This was our first time booking with Eileen and she was fantastic! She sent great updates whenever she came to check on our 2 ladies (2 year old cats), and sent pictures too! She was super responsive and also played with them when she came over which was so appreciated. Definitely will be booking again with her when we go away next :)

Jen took great care of our shy cat while we were away for a few days. She was very attentive to our requests and even when he was hiding she took the time to make sure he was fed and had what he needed!

Haley was so awesome! I feel 100% confident that she will take the best care of my cats. I’ve used other sitters on Rover, but was happiest with Haley.

Marianna was Excellent! visited twice a day, made sure our cat was fed, cleaned the litter box, and spent time playing with him. The updates and photos were greatly appreciated and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy, well cared for cat- Highly recommend!

Kaili was wonderful to work with! And our cats clearly loved her - they were extremely comfortable and social with her. Based on the many pictures Kaili shared, they had a blast while we were away. I don't think they even missed us a little!

Karalyn helped make a stressful time much easier by looking out for my older cats when I had to leave town for family stuff. Her daily reports and photos brought me so much relief! She knew what my concerns were about their health issues and reported on them specifically. Hooray for Karalyn!!! ❤️

Xiomara did an incredible job taking care of my cat, Lucy, for 60-min drop-in visits over Christmas and New Year's. I'm a bit of a clean freak and it was such a relief to come home to see that she had kept everything so incredibly clean and tidy. I could see from the lovely Rover Cards that she was spending real quality time with my cat, who does not do well being alone for long periods of time. It is a constant source of anxiety for me when I'm traveling and Xiomara allowed me to relax and actually enjoy my trip. I also am so thankful to Xiomara for being endlessly patient and understanding with me. I had to delay my departure and return dates for my trip multiple times due to COVID test result delays and the constant threat of flight cancellations stemming from airline understaffing/bad weather conditions. I was literally updating her in 1-2 day increments and she took it all in stride and made herself available to accommodate constant changes. I will 1000% be reaching out to Xiomara again for any future cat-sitting needs!

Kiana has been my go-to caretaker for my little one when I'm out of town. She comes twice a day to visit and spend time with my little fur baby. :-)

Sarah was a fantastic sitter! She provided the ultimate care for our little old diabetic kitty. She was amazing in her communication and providing updates. She took great pictures, played with him, gave him pets, and brushed him. She went up and beyond especially having to take him to the emergency vet due his diabetes. She was attentive and liaison for us since we were out of town. She set our minds at ease knowing Dexter was under her care during those unforeseen circumstances.

Miguel is great! Totally reliable, right on time every day, kept me posted on everything - and my super-shy cat even came out to take a look at him while he was here, which is a first!

So lovely to have Candice watch our little guy. She gives great notes and catches some funny faces in the photos she takes for the check-in reports. We’re hooked. Respectful and diligent and all around kind person.

Angie took great care of my 2 kitties while I was away for the holidays and I felt so at peace knowing that she was with them. She provided me with daily updates and pictures and would totally recommend her! 😻

Elva is wonderful! This was my first time using Rover, and Elva made the experience so positive we would definitely book again. She is very kind, reliable, responsible, easy to work with, came on time every single day, and is very communicative. We met with her before the stay, and she was very careful to get all the details for watching our two cats. Elva sent us several pictures of both of our cats each visit, as well as pictures of the clean litterboxes, fresh water, and freshly filled food dishes every day. She really put our mind at ease, and took time each day to play with the cats and make sure they were doing well. Both our girls are shy around new people, and they both loved Elva! You can tell how great she is with animals, I will definitely be booking with Elva the next time we are away, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

Karina was wonderful with my two cats! Communication was excellent and she shared photos from each visit. Will definitely book with her again!

Jessica was amazing. She offered to come over pre our trip to meet Ruby and to walk through her needs. Ruby totally warmed to her, I have a feeling Ruby might be disappointed that we are back and she no longer has her friend dropping in to play with her. Jessica also took the best photos which reassured us Ruby was doing fine and also captured her unique personality. Definitely will be using Jessica again.

Mich is the best of the best! She was so attentive to taking care of my cat & meeting all her needs while I was out of town for a week. She shared all the details of each visit with me, and sent lots of cute pictures. Absolutely will book her again in the future :)
