House Sitting in Astoria

Caroline did an amazing job taking care of my recently adopted shelter dog, Phil. I can’t sing her praises enough; she’s professional, punctual and very communicative, all things that made my time away less worrisome. Thank you!!

Razan was wonderful with my cats, especially Raven, who normally hides from new people and takes a long time to warm up to anyone. To my surprise, Raven felt comfortable around Razan almost immediately, which really says a lot. Razan was patient, calm, and clearly great with cats. I also appreciated the updates and photos while I was working. I would absolutely book with Razan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.

Rebecca was absolutely wonderful, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She was kind, asked thoughtful questions, followed my admittedly complicated instructions meticulously, and took very good care of my house and two senior pups for a relatively extended period of time. Extremely grateful for the peace of mind that comes with Rebecca’s good care!

Lenin was fantastic! He sent me constant updates and photos, and provided terrific communication. He kept my home clean and even took the trash out and cleaned my pups bowl before he left. We have a VERY shy anxious dog, and Lenin provided her with a comfortable space and seemed to have a good understanding of anxious pups. I’m truly impressed. Wonderful sitter and i will absolutely be booking again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my first time leaving Ruffles with someone, Mint’s puppy experience was a big plus and great reviews. I also had a wonderful experience, he’s super nice and great communication; I felt at ease. Arrived promptly and stayed an extra 10 minutes as I was running late back. I received updates and photos and really felt a-okay for the first time being away. Ruffles was in good spirits when I arrived home and slept through the night. I will be hiring again!

I would like to Thank Anastasia for watching Peanut and pumpkin. She was very responsible and kept us informed every day. When we were half way around the world she would respond fast when we had a question. We had no worries and we would love to have next time when we have another vacation I would recommend her. She sent pictures to us every day for walking with our dogs. We loved it. It made us feel safe too.

Desiree was great! She was so patient with my yorkie, Lucy, who is a rescue and doesn't always warm up to people at first (but she was determined to win her over! haha) She sent lots of updates, took her on long walks, and by the end of the weekend, Lucy was jumping on her lap to cuddle with her! I will definitely be calling Desiree to sit for Lucy again :)

Ashley is great! I fully trusted her with my dog in my space. My dog is definitely a little odd, and I appreciated her patience and genuine care for her comfort while I was away. I would definitely book her again!

Super communicative and wonderful. Andrea took great care of our house and Wyatt. I really appreciated the frequent updates and photos. Very grateful and appreciative.

Miguel is the best! We’ve used him for walks for awhile and we were just able to have him dog sit for us. My dog loves Miguel and he’s always very good to my dog and forward thinking. He is always doing things to help without being asked. He’s great!

Bhavana is extremely trustworthy and always makes sure that I am updated on the status of my senior dog. He loves her and she always makes sure that he is enriched during their time together

Michelle took great care of Caramel - sent lots of updates and was easy to coordinate with, highly recommend!

Yeisha did a great job with our pug "Bruce" and we were very fortunate that she was able to come to our home and with short notice. Bruce is a picky eater and he cannot walk more than about 0.5 miles. Yeisha had fun playing with him and walking him; it was wonderful that he could stay in the comfort of his surroundings. She sent us pictures each day and responds immediately, which is really nice. We hope that Yeisha will be able to help us again this summer!

Schirn was great! Very helpful friendly and my puppy loved her. She was super responsive and took the time to get to know my dog before moving forward. Would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience with Adeib. Very communicative, very reliable, very conscientious. Will absolutely be using again, my dog was in perfect hands with him.

Chae stayed a few days with my boy while I was on a work trip. She did an excellent job communicating, providing me reports of each day along with photos of my dog. Outstanding job, I will for sure keep her in mind for my future trips! Thank you for taking such good care of Felix!

My husband and I just keep saying, “How LUCKY are we to have found TJ???” He came to meet us through River a few months ago and our trip was canceled. He was very understanding about that-a good sign. For a long weekend to Washington DC for a wedding in Georgetown TJ stayed with our two dogs at our New York apartment and he was an absolute pro. He sent us photos of our two Britney spaniel’s walking in the park with him and he did that daily. Anytime I texted him. He texted me right back. He said the girls were delight and we certainly know that the dogs loved him as well. We cannot express our joy in feeling confident and happy that the girls were safe and well cared for in our home. TJ is amazing. If you’re lucky enough to book him, do it. I just don’t want him to get too popular because I want to use them all the time. He is the best.

Kevin was an awesome sitter to our two pups. He sent us pictures while we were gone and kept us updated. He took amazing care of our space and our boys.

Adam was wonderful! He took great care of our 2 cats (7 years old and 19 years old), was responsive, and very thoughtful in our space. I especially appreciated how much care he showed our senior girl...she doesn't always do well when we are away and she was very comfortable around Adam and her normal self when we returned. He also never hesitated to be helpful with picking up some packages and watering plants. We'd love to have him watch our girls and stay in our place anytime!
