House Sitting in Brooklyn

Avary house-sat for our very energetic GSD over a long weekend and did a fantastic job! Our pup can be anxious and Avary communicated throughout the stay to make sure we were informed on how our dog was doing. She took great care of our apartment as well and we look forward to having her watch our dog again in the future!

Lori is so great at communication and really sweet. She came by before the sitting to meet our dog and then on the day she was able to hang out with our dog and also take her on an adventure, which tired her out in all the right ways. It was so lovely to know that our dog was looked after by such a kind, well-communicating person. We'll absolutely be working with her in the future

Ren was great with our 5-month-old puppy! We’re still working on house training (and teething), and Ren was super on top of it and unfazed, had the pup happy and napping by the end. Thank you so much!

I cannot recommend Rachelle enough. She not only took amazing care of my four legged best friend but she left my apartment cleaner than it was when she arrived. She sent a ton of pictures and frequent updates. I’ve always felt uneasy leaving Charlie with work trips but it was clear from start to finish he was in good hands

Amazing amazing! Alexandra is an excellent sitter- she communicates throughout the stay helping us know that the pets are being well taken care of while we’re away and makes sure that our home is clean too!

Teddy is so special!! They stayed at our place to watch Mina while we were gone for a weekend. Mina is very anxious and we rarely can leave her with strangers, but Teddy went above and beyond with her. We got so many great updates- I feel so grateful we found Teddy and will definitely be reaching back out in the future!

Em is so great! They came to meet Shila a week before the stay, and Shila immediately loved Em. Em is communicative, timely, and very sweet. We definitely plan to use them again :)

Eden did a fantastic job caring for our little weirdo Boston Terrier Truman! We could not have asked for more! We received frequent, and very cute, pics and updates. It was clear Truman was very happy. We had not one concern during a ten day vacation knowing Truman was in a great hands. I think Truman misses Eden already. Thank you Eden! If i could give 6 stars I would!

Some people you come across on Rover, and you just know they’re amazing. From the moment I saw Jada’s profile, I felt a deep sense of calm and confidence—she radiates warmth, professionalism, and a genuine love for animals. I immediately knew Mara and Miko would be in excellent hands, and I was absolutely right. Jada was prompt, responsive, and thoughtful every step of the way. She sent wonderful photos and updates that made me feel at ease while I was away. My dogs adored her—it was clear she’s a true animal person with a natural gift for connecting with pets. She not only lives up to her glowing reviews—she exceeds them. Jada is a total gem and a five-star Rover in every sense of the word. I’m so grateful to have found her and can’t recommend her highly enough!

Dave was absolutely fantastic! Highly communicative, great with cats, great energy in general! Will happily have him cat sit again and may consider him for Great Dane sitting!

Lucy did a great job with my sassy senior Dachshund! He's not the easiest dog to work with, but she was patient with him and kept communicating with me throughout. And when we had some travel delays, she was understanding and flexible. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Desiree was amazing! She stepped in at the last minute and took such good care of my dog. I was traveling cross country which is always stressful but she was a calming force and I knew all would be well. I highly recommend her! She is kind, responsible and very caring with your little fur baby.

Jennifer was such a great cat sitter, sending me updates & pics while I was away. She communicated clearly & was diligent about keeping me updated. My cat is usually pretty a bit distressed when I leave, but she seems very well adjusted. Jennifer also tidied up upon leaving, which was so very appreciated. Would definitely recommend her services!

Easy peasy Friday night - Janelle is the best, Sophie was so thrilled to hang with her and enjoyed the playtime, walks, and attentive care as always.

Sydney was responsive, gave updates and provided great photos of my dogs. She watched all three of them overnight and was very communicative, everything went well overall.

Lenford house sat for our dog Lily this past weekend and did a fantastic job. It’s the first time someone took care of her for the weekend and all went perfectly.

In a very short span of time since my move to Brooklyn, Kristin has cared for my beloved Shih Tzu a few times. My dog is gentle but super picky. I was surprised she adjusted during her first time with him. She ate all her food!! She’s excited to see him every time and that’s a testament to how much he cares for animals. It seems like it’s part of his life and not really a job because he does what is needed and necessary and not just “what’s paid for”. I’m very grateful for Kristen. 10/10 recommendation.

Christina treated our apartment and pup with care while we were away. She sent photos and notes daily on our dog’s wellbeing and didn’t hesitate to ask questions when he exhibited behavior she didn’t understand. Would absolutely trust Christina with our dog again!
