House Sitting in Brooklyn

Lori is highly communicative and provided thorough updates on my cattens during my trip, she's kind and professional and she truly cares for animals and people! I would recommend Lori to anyone who wants a carefree vacation trusting that their pets are well taken care of. I would gladly request Lori to cat sit again!

Scary has stayed with our Schipperke, Roger, twice now! First when he was just an 11mo-old pup, and recently as an adolescent 13mo-old. Both times, we felt confident, communicated with, secure, and grateful. We even had a crazy travel snag with our flight cancelled overnight for more than 24hrs and Avary went above and beyond to make sure Roger was cared for, fed, let out, and all the things, helping tremendously to ease an already stressful situation. Avary is the most communicative sitter we’ve encountered. When Roger had anxiety accidents, Avary made sure he and our space were clean, keeping us informed and Roger comfy every step of the way. 10/10 recommend this incredible, thoughtful, kind, compassionate, smart, intuitive, talented pet-sitter. Avary knows dogs and it’s clear dogs love Avary. The best of the best.

I couldn't be happier with the dog and house-sitting services provided by Rachelle. She took care of my Dachshund while I was away on vacation for a week, and I was very impressed. She followed all the instructions I left for Isles’ care to the letter, ensuring that he received the proper playtime, walks, and feedings. Not only did she take excellent care of my fur baby, but she also maintained the cleanliness and order of my home. It was a relief to know that I could enjoy my vacation without worrying about my dog's well-being or the security of my house.

Destiny is our go-to sitter for our 12yo chocolate lab! She takes great care of him and is the most respectful houseguest we've ever had. Dependable and great communication, 11/10 recommend!

Easy peasy Friday night - Janelle is the best, Sophie was so thrilled to hang with her and enjoyed the playtime, walks, and attentive care as always.

Eden was amazing with our fairly anxious and leash reactive pup. He took amazing care of her and of our apartment and helped us out with extra walks when our flight was delayed. Would 100% recommend Eden and hope he’ll stay with Astoria again sometime!

Some people you come across on Rover, and you just know they’re amazing. From the moment I saw Jada’s profile, I felt a deep sense of calm and confidence—she radiates warmth, professionalism, and a genuine love for animals. I immediately knew Mara and Miko would be in excellent hands, and I was absolutely right. Jada was prompt, responsive, and thoughtful every step of the way. She sent wonderful photos and updates that made me feel at ease while I was away. My dogs adored her—it was clear she’s a true animal person with a natural gift for connecting with pets. She not only lives up to her glowing reviews—she exceeds them. Jada is a total gem and a five-star Rover in every sense of the word. I’m so grateful to have found her and can’t recommend her highly enough!

Desireé went above and beyond for my two dogs. Never have they ever been so comfortable with someone besides me. She is kind and gentle and patient. I was truly so appreciative of how thoughtful she was sending updates and photos. My dogs are not the easiest to walk, and she had no issues or problems and was incredibly competent. I was able to relax fully for the first time on vacation since I have gotten my dogs. I can’t speak highly enough of Desireé and I would recommend her to everyone and anyone I know. I trust her fully and completely.

Em is so great! They came to meet Shila a week before the stay, and Shila immediately loved Em. Em is communicative, timely, and very sweet. We definitely plan to use them again :)

Dave was absolutely fantastic! Highly communicative, great with cats, great energy in general! Will happily have him cat sit again and may consider him for Great Dane sitting!

We rebooked Meka to house sit for our 1 year old golden, Franklin! We love Meka, and Franklin loves her. She takes incredible care of him - long walks, treats and quality time. Could not recommend her more

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! With all the updates and photos, it made being away from my cat not too hard. Place was left spotless and cat well feed. Highly recommend Jenifer and will for sure book again!

Megan was fantastic! She accommodated a last-minute request, which we really appreciated. My dog took to her immediately - it was like he’d known her for years. Throughout the visit she kept us in the loop with tons of photo updates, which we loved. My pup is high-energy Australian Shepherd, and Megan kept him entertained with lots of fetch to help burn off his energy. You could tell he had a blast with her. We’ll definitely be booking with Megan again!

Sadie stayed with my cat while I was on vacay for 4 nights. She was really communicative and trustworthy. I arrived back to a very clean apartment and a happy fur baby. Highly recommend!

Ren was great with our 5-month-old puppy! We’re still working on house training (and teething), and Ren was super on top of it and unfazed, had the pup happy and napping by the end. Thank you so much!

In a very short span of time since my move to Brooklyn, Kristin has cared for my beloved Shih Tzu a few times. My dog is gentle but super picky. I was surprised she adjusted during her first time with him. She ate all her food!! She’s excited to see him every time and that’s a testament to how much he cares for animals. It seems like it’s part of his life and not really a job because he does what is needed and necessary and not just “what’s paid for”. I’m very grateful for Kristen. 10/10 recommendation.
