Dog Boarding in Canaan

Brooke took perfect care of Riley for a little over a week. She made sure Riley felt right at home and so did the rest of the family. Riley could play out in the back fenced-in yard, which she did with Suki (Brooke's dog), so she got plenty of play time and exercise. Brooke's home is a great home to leave your dog in. A bonus is that Brooke is a vet-tech, so if anything should go wrong, Brooke can take care of it. I highly recommend using Brooke to board your pup.

Deanne cared for our 4 month old kitten. I was so anxious for him because we got him from the humane society at 10 weeks old and he is only a baby. That’s how she cared for him, lovingly and kept him protected and safe the whole time. He was thriving under her care. Kitty had his own large room at my request, no cages, just his own toys, bedding and food and playtime. It was 100% positive for him and us. Deanne sent photos and videos regularly and we had no worries.

Candice was fantastic — she took awesome care of my dog. She was very accommodating of his needs as an older dog, and clearly has a passion caring for dogs. She was very quick to respond to messages and very flexible with the booking. Would absolutely recommend her to others and wouldn’t hesitate to have her sit my dog again.

Patty is the absolute best!!! We feel completely comfortable and at ease when leaving our dog with her. She sends regular texts and pictures which reveal a very happy and content Sammy!! I highly recommend her!

Jess was amazing with my little ball of anxiety. I received plenty of pic updates and she cared for him when he wasn’t feeling well, keeping me in the loop the entire time. Caesar has made new human friends and that is not easy for him. Will definitely use again should I be taking anymore trips without my buddy.

Mary and Todd took wonderful care of Darcy! They took him on the long walks he needs and sent me plenty of updates and pictures. I'll definitely contact them again if I need a sitter!

Yenifer took wonderful care of our tiny 14-year-old miniature pinscher, Bobo. From the moment we handed Bobo’s food, bowls, treats, bed & blanket — and Bobo! — to Yenifer… our pup was relaxed & comfortable, & I knew she was in good hands. Yenifer is an exceptionally calm, kind and gentle person (as is her husband Andreas). It’s clear they both really love dogs…. I was impressed in the way they worked together (as a team) to make sure our dog was at ease & happy, & that someone was always there with our sweet girl. With Yenifer & Andreas, I know Bobo was fed, walked, well-cared-for & happy! We would not hesitate to recommend Yenifer & her husband to friends & family!

Nicole was so warm and welcoming to Eva and provided many pics and updates. Eva was welcomed into the family and had so much fun playing and going in adventures over the weekend. So happy to have found a home away from home for Eva!

Jennifer was absolutely fantastic! We have a 5 year old sweet but very anxious German shepherd who hasn’t been watched outside our home since before COVID so we weren't sure how she would do. Jennifer set up a meet and greet for us and then we did an overnight stay as a test run for an upcoming longer stay. Arwen was nervous after the car ride but Jennifer provided several updates and photos to show her progress. We can’t recommend her highly enough and we’ll absolutely be booking with her in the future!

Tetiana took such good care of our Sweetie. Caring for an elderly pet (18 year old beagle) can be a challenge, but Sweetie came home calm and happy. Tetiana also sent lots of pictures letting us know Sweetie was safe and happy throughout her stay. Thank you so much!

I cannot thank Vera enough for taking care of Luna as if she were hers! She was so attentive and just gave me peace of mind about leaving her. I appreciated the many updates and photos (I totally needed them). This was the second time that Vera took care of Luna and when I need someone again I will for sure go to Vera!

So happy with my experience with Kaitlyn. She was responsive and made sure to send me daily updates when she watched my dog. Picking up my dog it was clear she had a good time and was treated well. Highly recommend!

Always nice to be able to go and visit family without worrying about Bailey. Brigid is great about keeping us informed and sending cute pictures. Highly recommend

Cheyenne was a great host for Mugi and on very short notice. She took great care of our pup while we were away for the weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Patch loves going to Robin & John’s and we appreciate how well they care for him. Dropping him there feels like dropping off to family and we have so much peace of mind knowing he’s being lovingly cared for while having the time of his life.

Aura and Nick were amazing! They took great care of our 1 year old dog for 2 weeks, sending us updates and pictures along the way. Communication was excellent. Our pup was happy when he met them, and happy when we picked him up. We will definitely call them again.

Sylva, Mark and Ezra were amazing with my two dachshund pups. They were warm, friendly and patient with my boys which is exactly what they need. I’d definitely use them again if I’m in the Troy area.

Emmaly took great care of our 2 small dogs! She responded fast, sent updates and pictures, and I can tell they had a great time because they passed out the second they got home! I would definitely recommend her and I hope to use her again in the future!
