House Sitting in East Rochester

I can not say enough positive things about my experience with Lavinia! She stayed with my dog at the house for two nights and three days while I was on a business trip. My girl immediately loved Lavinia from the moment she walked in the door, and from the photos of her stay, they quickly became besties! Lavinia has amazing communication, providing text updates throughout the day and plenty of photos showing how much fun my dog was having with her. She was incredibly thorough, making sure she knew the exact amount of exercise my dog needed and made sure to ask clarifying questions on the care instructions. My pup can be quite sassy and stubborn, but Lavinia took to the task with enthusiasm and patience, keeping my girl occupied with lots of walks and activities. When I got home, the house was spotless and she even did some little extra things like stripping the bed and taking in the trash bin that were so thoughtful. I would highly recommend Lavinia to anyone who is looking for a sitter. I’ll certainly be calling her the next time I have to leave my dog for a trip!

Lauren is amazing. She stayed at our house for nine days, took excellent care of our dog and left the house spotless. You have to understand that our dog is very difficult to all new people she comes in contact with. She is scared to death. For this reason, Lauren visited a number of times before we left on our vacation. Even after this, the first few days were hard on Lauren, but she kept in constant contact with us and worked through the situation. Within a few days, they were best buds and our dog followed her everywhere. On our return, we could see the strong bond that the two had created. We can't thank Lauren enough for sticking with it, enabling us to have a care-free vacation.

Wow - I could go on and on. Instead I’ll just say Kate is [insert all the positive adjectives you can think of here]. I recently adopted a scared, reluctant and very sweet 3 yo pup from a shelter. She’s scared of everyone. I had Kate come over several times to meet my pup and walk her before booking a 2 night dog-sitting. I was so nervous that my dog would spend 2 days refusing to walk, eat, go to the bathroom, etc.. In my wildest dreams, I never expected to receive photos of my dog rolling over and asking Kate for belly rubs (and keeping her regular meal, sleep and bathroom schedule). Kate is incredibly communicative, patient, trust-worthy and caring. I am slightly reluctant to write this review because my dog and I will be so sad if she’s not available whenever I need to go out of town. She is all the wonderful things, and then some!

It was so great to book with Emily again!! She is amazing and our dogs are always so well cared for with her. Emily is so responsive, checks in regularly and sends great photo updates, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure we have peace of mind while she cares for our pups. We are so thankful for her!!

James was a wonderful sitter. He provided regular updates and established a great connection with both of our pups. One of our pups can be on the anxious side at first and James was able to quickly establish trust with him. James also took great care of our home. He was very communicative and responsive, which put our minds at ease as first time Rover users. I would definitely recommend James and hope to book him again in the future. Thanks, James!

Emily is simply the best! She is our “go to” sitter and our dog adores her. She is incredibly responsive and responsible - we have never had a pet sitter that even comes close to her.

Joey has that “Pack Leader Aura” that dogs gravitate to. I have a BIG Bully dog that is very particular about who he allows to handle him. The big guy LOVED Joey immediately upon introduction. Joey has genuine affection for dogs and is a natural caregiver. I highly recommend him and will use him frequently.

Skylar was amazing as always with Finnegan. He is a bit difficult at the start of any of our absences but she handles everything well and kindly. Lots of great photos and updates every time as well!

One was great with my Husky! She was very flexible and communicative, walked and cared for my pup very well. Came back to a very happy dog and a well cared for house.

Ricky! He’s been a delight to have as a sitter for my boys. We’ve had a lot of anxiety when it comes to leaving our dogs, Ricky’s communication and ability to bond with our dogs put all our worries at ease. I highly recommend his services and will continue to seek him out when in need!

Robyn recently stayed at our home with our 2 senior dogs. One of our dogs requires meds every 8 hrs and Robyn was wonderful with her. She was awesome sending pics and updates every day. Our dogs were so laidback when we got home. They acted like we never left! We will definitely use Robyn again.
