Cat Sitting in Esopus

I was extremely impressed with Grettel! I have a very shy and anxious cat who usually takes months to warm up to new people, and while I expected her to be well-cared for physically, I was pleasantly surprised to receive videos of a playful, happy cat. My expectations were very much exceeded, and I would hire Grettel again with no hesitation.

Jen was kind, communicative and very friendly. She took the time to sit with my shy cat and talk to them everyday I was gone. I feel very lucky to have someone take care of my cats that truly loves animals. I would 100% book her again.

Vicki was amazing! So great with my 2 cats. My kitties usually hide from pet sitters but with Vicki she was even getting a good brush in with one of them! Wow. Very attentive and will definitely book w Vicki again xx

This was my first time having Alexandra care for my cat; she kindly stepped in at the last minute and came highly recommended from another cat sitter. She was very prompt and clear with communication and was careful to make sure she understood the cat care instructions. She sent thorough reports and great photos; everything was perfect upon my return. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again myself!

Jamie was fantastic and came over the day before we needed care. Jamie was communicative, sent pics, and loved on our cats. We are so grateful and relieved that we were able to work with Jamie last minute!

Katherine graciously agreed to stop in on our cats over the holidays and was amazing! Super prompt and gave nice updates. Our kitties seemed super happy and content when we got home. We would not hesitate to reach out to her again.

Rebecca was wonderful. It was comforting to hear news about my cat and see the photos of her. I would definitely use her again. My kitty warmed to her well enough for her to be able to pet her which is unusual for someone she doesn't know well.

Bridget went above and beyond to take care of our cat while we were away on a trip. Communication with Bridget was great and we were able to trust that our cat was in great hands. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Amelia was warm and kind and listened to all the directions I gave her (helicopter cat-mom here). She sent lots of pictures and updates about how everyone was doing after every visit. Just the best!

Lena did a wonderful job taking care or our cats Mia and Cleo. She even went the extra measure of finding our shy Cleo and luring her out to socialize. We cam home to happy cats.

We were delighted that Monica was available at the last minute after another pet-sitter cancelled. She communicated clearly and courteously with us from the start and sent us regular updates and photos. Lucy (our cat) seemed to feel very comfortable with her and was happy and relaxed upon our return. The house was also as clean and orderly as we left it. We can definitely recommend Monica and would be glad to have her stay with Lucy again.

Aliza is lovely, she cared for our 3 kitties while we were away and took great care each day to change their food/water/litter and spend time with the ones who would let her spend time with them. We will absolutely be reaching out to Aliza again when we go away. Thank you!

Emily was here alot durning my trip overseas and took great pictures and my cats were very happy and maybe forgot about me! she sent me news everyday and it was good to see the boys. we are very happy and so fortunate that we had her.

We were very pleased with Rose's care for Nina. She was diligent in providing information and pics on Nina. We will definitely use her services again and will recommend to others. Thank you.

Patrick was awesome! Took great care of my cat over Christmas, stopping by my house to feed, water, tidy up and play with Bob. Patrick responded quickly to my inquiry and met in person the next day. He was interested in all the details of caring for my cat and was fun to chat with about pets and other topics as well :). While I was gone, Patrick checked in at the time of day we agreed on and provided many details and photos that let me know Bob was doing well and in good hands so I could enjoy my time away without being worried. He even bought Bob a toy :). I would highly recommend contacting Patrick to care for your furry friend while you’re away!

Christina provided excellent care for our cat Odin when we were away for 2 weeks. We hired her to come in twice a day to feed him, play, and grab our mail. She sent us pictures and updates every day, and you could tell that Odin was having a great time. When we came home she had taken the cans out to the recycling, his litter was clean and he had recently been brushed. Best of all we had a happy cat who had been well taken care of and it showed. Also worth noting is that throughout the hiring and care process she she has been very prompt with communication, responding within an hour (usually less) which is a quality that I appreciate. Definitely do not hesitate to hire Christina.
