Dog Boarding in Glenham

From our first Rover conversation through the moment we picked our dog up after her 3-night stay, our experience with Liz and Adam and their Beacon Bark House was nothing short of wonderful. If your experience is anything like ours, you may be a little bit nervous because your dog has some reactivity and anxiety in her history. But you’ll feel reassured as your hosts are kind, direct, patient, and professional in every step of the booking. You’ll feel warmth and comfort from start to finish of your meet and greet and will feel confident your best furry friend will be in excellent hands. While your pet is at the Bark House, you’ll receive frequent, honest updates with pictures and video. You’ll be relieved to watch your dog get comfortable (and even maybe start to wonder if she’ll want to come home with you when the booking is done). And when you return for the pick up, your dog will be happy to see you and seem to be… well… happy! Beacon Bark House will be our first choice for boarding our dog the next time we need to be away from her for more than a couple of days. We’re so fortunate to have them nearby!

Brittany was extremely accommodating with my little girl. Oreo has a lot of anxiety but Brittany made sure she felt comfortable Brittany was very responsive to all our concerns and made us feel more comfortable about leaving her behind by sending us pictures and text messages with any updates. I highly recommend Brittany and hope to book again soon.

Maria is the best! Took great care of our dog and was extremely easy-going and flexible! Even when our trip got delayed she not only accommodated us but gave extra food to our super-picky dog. She and her family were thoughtful and communicative. Will definitely be using her again!

Kiki was an absolute angel with my two Great Danes! They stayed with her for almost 10 days and they were so well taken care of. She sent picture updates regularly and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable the entire stay. I will be using Kiki as my go to sitter for my boys from now on!

Terrance is a gentleman and businessman. He treated our arrangement with complete professionalism and kindness, taking care to meet Odin’s needs as if Odin was his own.

Laurie was amazing! Her and her pup treated my dog Taylor like she was one of their own. Taylor was really happy playing on the rooftop. Laurie was even able to accommodate extra dog sitting hours at the last minute. Would definitely recommend!!!

I was worried at first, as I have never left Mika alone with anyone I didn't know personally before, but Tara made the whole experience a breeze! We were able to meet a few days before the boarding date where we all got to know each other at her house (where Mika would be staying) and make sure it would be a perfect fit! Not only were Tara and her Husband super welcoming, but their two dogs and three cats were too! On the first day of boarding, Mika made sure to make herself right at home, and Tara sent lots of pictures and videos to show me how great she doing during her whole stay! I was comfortable and felt at ease the whole time she was there. Tara is a super sweet, caring furmom and we will definitely be using her again :)

Mildred and her family had Bodhi feeling right at home. Attentive and responsive, much appreciated the peace of mind and will be trusting her with my dog prince again.

Leah was very welcoming and I felt comfortable leaving my 12 year old Golden Retriever with her for several days. She provided me with daily updates and was quick to respond to any questions I had. I would be happy to have her watch my Stella anytime!

David is THE BEST. He took amazing care of my fur baby. He sent pictures and updates throughout the day. I could tell my dog was very comfortable with him. He’s very kind and loving, and professional. 10 stars…would DEFINITELY recommend.

We went on a 7 day vacation and Left our 11 year old dog, Gracie with Daniela. The process was easy and she regularly updated us on how Gracie was doing; Sending both pictures and video via the app. We've had mixed result with dog sitters within our family but Gracie seemed to thrive with Daniela. Gracie has a special diet with refrigerated food and Daniela was very accommodating. Overall a great experience! Would definitely recommend!

Jeff was so great with my dog! I picked him up after 5 days to see him well walked and happy. Jeff has a large house with tons of outdoor space and a dog who is easy to get along with. He clearly took the time to care for my dog with abundant walks and attention. Would highly recommend Jeff and will be using him in the future!

Mary is a Awesome dog sitter. She is the best sitter I have had. I will definitely request her the next time. My dog Nalah was well taken cared of and happy. I will also recommend her to everyone.

Annie was AWESOME!!!!!! I'd had surgery on my wrist and she agreed to pick up and drop off the kids. The kids came home exhausted, which is their way of showing that they've had a blast on their mini-vacays. Annie sent us pics of the kids and updates every couple of days. It was very reassuring to get those, especially since we were on the other side of the country. I'm torn between referring her to others and keeping her to myself.

Cherissa and her family were wonderful watching our new rescue dog for our wedding weekend! We were nervous to leave her for the first time but got so many photo and text updates and could see she was happy and taken care of. We hope to continue to work with Cherissa in the future and can’t recommend her enough.
