Cat Sitting in Green Island

Stephanie was amazing. We met her once and knew she was the right choice. She was easily able to handle providing medication and special nutritional needs for our two older girls, as well as, keeping our younger guy busy with plenty of playtime. Steph sent plenty of pictures each day along with a detailed recap of each visit. When we were delayed 2 days getting home from our trip she was happy to extend our agreement to help us out of the jam. I would recommend to anyone needing care for their animals… as long as we don’t need her first!

Anna was awesome!! I really appreciated her updates and communication. She left the house in great shape. Most importantly, my cat Azi clearly adored her, and I could travel knowing he was safe and happy. Will definitely hire again :)

Kendra was super communicative and thoughtful before, during, and after her stay with my cat Azi. She went above and beyond to keep my plants watered, sent a ton of photos and videos, and left the house clean and tidy. Most of all, Azi clearly loved her. Would highly recommend!

Samantha was absolutely fantastic! With both my cats being terrified of people, she did a great job in giving them their space and allowing them to feel comfortable enough to come out and eat while she waited. This is the first time I’ve ever had to have somebody come over and feed them when I wasn’t home so I was extremely nervous, but everything went perfectly! (Even though she had to track them down for a picture at the end 😭)

Kimberly did so great, she was very attentive during our meet up. She sent me great photos and videos of her playing with my cat Parsnip and brushing him. I forgot to tell her what to do with the keys and she found the perfect spot to hide them. She also let me know my AC was leaking, cleaned it up and turned it off, and turned on the other AC. She was perfect!!

Larissa was fantastic and took such good care of our cat Olive while we were away. She sent daily pictures and we could tell Olive was getting so much love and having a blast with Larissa. Would definitely recommend booking Larissa!!

Linda was so awesome. I hired her thru this app and she took care of my two cats. Then, when I got stuck in Tampa due to cancelled flight because of bad weather, she stepped right in to help me out in a pinch. I’m so thankful my cats got such good care!!

Christina was fantastic! She took great care of my cats and provided lots of photos. She also went above and beyond and made sure the house was clean and even fixed a loose door knob! I would strongly recommend her to take care of anyones furry friends while they’re away.

***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.

Leah was a wonderful to have care for our cat while we were away. She is very friendly and communicative. And it was very clear from her updates that our cat really liked her too! Will definitely rebook with Leah in the future!

First cat hid the whole time but our second cat loved getting attention from Larry! Food, water, litterboxes all taken care of as requested, and other impromptu requests too.

I had a great experience with her while I was away on a business trip. She took excellent care of my cat, Sydney, and my fish, Phoenix. She spent plenty of quality time with Sydney, which really helped him feel comfortable and not abandoned while I was gone. If Sydney had one complaint, it would be that he always wants more attention. All requested tasks were handled to a high standard, including feeding my fish, cleaning the litter box, and making sure everything was in good order during her visits. She was respectful of my space, reliable, and followed all care instructions as discussed. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and I would be happy to have her watch my pets again in the future.

Fed and cleaned the litter for our cat while we were away for Christmas. Even got him to come out and play, despite how much of a scaredy-cat he usually is! Really thankful he was around for the holidays and would definitely recommend him for anyone with a cat (even a scaredy one) :)
