House Sitting in Manhattan

Justine is so awesome! This was our first time using Rover and I am so grateful that Justine was available to house sit for us for a whole week. She was very communicative and responsible, took excellent care of our two small dogs, and left the house clean and tidy. One of our dogs is very high energy and the other is a little older and stubborn; Justine did a great job addressing their individual needs to keep them happy and healthy while we were gone. We booked with her to house sit again for us in a few weeks. Rest assured, if you hire Justine, your pets will receive great care.

Madeline was wonderful to work with! My two anxious dogs loved her and she was super communicative and sent plenty of pics throughout her time sitting for them. Also she left the house immaculately clean before she left. I’d definitely book with her again!

Ethan and Alice are truly awesome!! They were amazing, so communicative, and helped us in a pinch!! We appreciate them so much!! Made me feel a million times better about leaving. Will definitely be using them again!!

Caroline was a true lifesaver for me this week. She was impeccably responsible and went above and beyond to help me and my pup Luna be comfortable. Luna was recently out of surgery so i needed who was really dependable to care for her. With Caroline, I never once worried about Luna and knew that Luna had everything she needed - from safety to love.

Monique is an absolute angel, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have found her. She cared for our dog with such kindness, attentiveness, and genuine love - it was clear from the start that she truly understands and cherishes animals. Britt did such a fantastic job with watching my sometimes hard to please husky. When I came back, he was relaxed, happy, and clearly not stressed at all. Britt is a clear, thoughtful communicator and truly went above and beyond by staying an extra five days after my flight was unexpectedly cancelled and I couldn’t get back. Thank you Britt, for taking such great care of Tori. Britt was incredibly respectful, reliable, and kind. I’m so grateful to have found her !

Ammon was FANTASTIC! She stayed 4 nights with our 2 pups. She gave daily updates, sent pictures, and followed directions very well. And she spent good quality time with our dogs. In fact, one of our pups are anxiety and tends to withdraw from people. Ammon made our scared pup feel so comfortable, Wisco slept beside her. Highly recommend, she’ll be our first pick next time we leave town!

DP was great! Sent a lot of pics and videos of Bertie which we loved, and left the apartment in perfect beautiful shape. Would love to rebook with him.

Kerra was fantastic, truly. She was super responsive during the booking process, and was a perfect caretaker for not only our two pups but our home. She was very very communicative during the booking, sending regular updates. At the end of the booking, she even made some very helpful suggestions about training for our 4-month old puppy. We we would highly recommend her to anyone.

Chelsea took the best care of our boy Duke who tends to be quite the anxious boy! She attended to all of his needs ensuring he had treats, playtime and even some snuggles! I couldn’t believe how quickly he warmed up to her and can’t wait to have Chelsea over again!

Adolfo was great with my cats! He stayed at my place and I felt very comfortable having him cat-sit there. He was great at staying in touch and giving me updates. I would definitely hire him again.

I recently left my cat, Saturn, in the care of Mahlet for a few days, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! She was attentive, reliable, and truly seemed to care about Saturn's well-being. I appreciated the updates and photos, which kept me reassured while I was away. Saturn is quite shy and doesn’t always warm up to people, but she seemed relaxed and comfortable with Mahlet, which says a lot. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and caring pet sitter!

Razan was very sweet and super accommodating on a last minute Friday night request! Poe warmed up to her immediately and she sent pictures throughout the sit! Would recommend and will definitely book again 😊

Fatima was wonderful with Sherlock! During the stay he ended up falling ill and Fatima was super kind and took him to the vet and took such great care of him! Can’t imagine anyone better to take care of Sherlock moving forward

Our prayers answered! Alejandra is a pleasure to work with and most importantly, made our dog Lara feel safe and loved from their first encounter. We’re first time dog owners and Rover users, so choosing a sitter to come stay in our home for 5 days was an important choice - and Alejandra turned out to be the best case scenario. She is responsive, trustworthy and we are already repeat customers. The best feeling was the next time we hired Alejandra, Lara was SO excited to see her. Seeing how much our pup missed her and loves her is all the evidence you need of a loving sitter.

Desiree was amazing with Louie. She took great care of him and sent lots of updates and photos throughout the night. Louie is an anxious dog but you could tell he was comfortable with Desiree.
