House Sitting in Manhattan

Madeline stayed at our apartment and watched our pup for a week and a half while we were traveling. She gave us super detailed and thoughtful daily updates with pictures, and it was clear that Hudson had a wonderful time with her (it’s also clear he misses her now that we’re back!). We can’t recommend her enough!

Caroline was incredible to work with! Her care and compassion for our pup was obvious from the first meet and greet and throughout her entire in-home stay. Caroline provided great updates on our pup and we hope she comes to watch our girl again.

Monique is simply awesome! She’s such a nice, genuine person that loves dogs and is great to talk to! We’ll be asking her to help us again in the future for sure!

Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was very respectful, responsive and took amazing care of our 2 golden retrievers. She sent many pictures and checked in often. She went above and beyond to make sure our girls and apartment were well charged for. This was our first experience using Rover and she had set the bar very high! We will book with her again without hesitation!

Michelle provided great care for two cats (including medication) over a holiday weekend. Got home and they were happy and healthy and our place looked perfect. Lots of photos and communications, too. Definitely recommend her!

Razan was wonderful with my cats, especially Raven, who normally hides from new people and takes a long time to warm up to anyone. To my surprise, Raven felt comfortable around Razan almost immediately, which really says a lot. Razan was patient, calm, and clearly great with cats. I also appreciated the updates and photos while I was working. I would absolutely book with Razan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.

Adrianna took great care of our two cats, one of which is on a urinary diet, while we were away for a long weekend. She helped us feel at ease and shared daily updates along with photos.

Bryant was excellent with our dog Ernie! Ernie warmed up to him quickly, he took him on some great walks, and he was punctual, took good care of our home, and was a super nice person. We’d definitely recommend him for caring for your dog!

Kerra and Chris were so great with our giant puppy! It’s clear they have a lot of experience with dogs and generally love being around them. Our dog liked them instantly. Kerra and Chris were willing to watch our dog while she was in heat. Not only that, but while we were away, we found out from the vet that our dog needed to start new medicine. They picked up her new medicine from the vet and started administering it right away. They gave us regular updates making us feel at ease while we were out of town. We are so happy to have found Kerra and Chris and will definitely book with them again!

Our prayers answered! Alejandra is a pleasure to work with and most importantly, made our dog Lara feel safe and loved from their first encounter. We’re first time dog owners and Rover users, so choosing a sitter to come stay in our home for 5 days was an important choice - and Alejandra turned out to be the best case scenario. She is responsive, trustworthy and we are already repeat customers. The best feeling was the next time we hired Alejandra, Lara was SO excited to see her. Seeing how much our pup missed her and loves her is all the evidence you need of a loving sitter.

This was Alice and Ethan’s third time with Penny and it went smoothly as always 😊 she was so excited to see them again and they took great care of her and our apartment!

DP was great! Sent a lot of pics and videos of Bertie which we loved, and left the apartment in perfect beautiful shape. Would love to rebook with him.

Deisi is amazing. Not only did she take wonderful care of our dog Hudson, she helped him adjust to NYC, We were unable to get him to walk further than our block - having just come to the city from the country where he could run free and walk on quiet country roads. Upon return, he is walking cheerfully around the full city block! We got more help than we expected, and would hire Deisi again in a heartbeat. She is also a good communicator, and was very thorough in asking questions and attending to details related to taking care of our dog. Thank you Deisi!
