Pet Sitting in Mount Tremper

Danielle has been great to correspond with and super flexible. Our 😇🐶 was in good hands. I’d definitely book with her again. She knew all the right questions to ask. We appreciated the photos and notes and would recommend her to anyone!

TL;DR—The best cat sitter we’ve had in 8 years! I have an almost-11-year-old, very sweet and affectionate cat, who is extremely talkative, playful, and active, but no one would know this about her because she simply refuses to interact with anyone other me. She begrudgingly accepts my husband when I’m not home and acts like my 7-year-old son is that (barely tolerable) visitor who should have left yesterday. Most visitors to our house have never even met our cat. In the past, whenever I went away, she wouldn’t eat, urinate nor defecate, for the first few days. When she did eat, she wouldn’t eat her wet food (only dry food) and she’d urinate half the frequency and amount, and defecate maybe every 3rd or 4th day. As you can imagine, I had to severely limit my travels and even when I did, I was stressed and worried about her well-being. At our Meet-and-Greet, my cat, surprisingly, did come out to see Lindsay, but still kept her distance and watched her for a few seconds from afar, before hiding. I showed Lindsay one of my cat’s hiding places, which was where she went, and I regretted it - because even after Lindsay left, she was still upset and wouldn’t come out of hiding. I say all of this to say that I left for my 1-week trip with a heavy heart, though hopeful, because Lindsay seemed capable, dependable, and, professional. Well, I’m so glad to have found Lindsay and lucky that she was able to accommodate us during the busy Thanksgiving week - my cat was affectionate with Lindsay, ate and urinated regularly, and most surprisingly, defecated daily (except for the first day and Thanksgiving Day, when Lindsay came early evening instead of her usual mornings). This has never, ever, happened before. Lindsay sent us detailed daily reports and lots of pictures so I knew she was taking wonderful care of my cat, but others have done that, or tried to, too, but could never make my cat comfortable enough to have daily bowel movements. Whenever someone asked me about my cat’s sitter or boarder, I always said that the proof will be in the poop - and well, the proof is in the poop! This was my first time using Rover and working with Lindsay and it won’t be the last. Now, Rover, if you can stop referring to my cat as my dog or pooch, that will be great. Lindsay, you are the best. Thank you.

This was my first shot at working with ROVER and I needed a pet sitter last minute. Alexa was amazing. Very respectful, responsive and kind. I trusted her with my pets and I will definitely call her again.

Kasey is a responsible communicative reliable pet sitter. She left everything tidy and organized. My kitties were very well taken care of and she is also a charming young lady. I recommend her highly.

Amy was excellent. She took great care of our pets and stayed communicative, and we were satisfied that our animals were given plenty of attention.
