House Sitting in Pompey Center

Rachel was great and attentive watching our high-maintenance dogs. They like to go outside often to hang out on the deck. She is a great communicator, keeping us updated on how everything was going.

Our first time using Adriana and we couldn't be happier. We have a senior pup who gets very anxious when we leave our home, but she was very happy and calm when we returned home which was lovely to see. Adriana sent a text with photos each day letting us know everyone was good which I appreciated as well. And, our home was kept tidy and clean while she stayed over. By the look of it, our pup and two kitties were very much taken care of which has made me extremely happy. Thank you!

Anastasia was phenom. She was available on short notice and able to adapt when our travel plans changed. Our dog Piglet is a wee bit anxious—scared of thunder, scared of rain—and yet despite the torrential downpour, Ana made her feel safe. In only a few hours, Piglet was rolling around gleefully on the floor and resting her giant head on Ana’s knee! We all hope to see Ana again; P has a new bff. Bonus: she’s a smart and savvy podcaster who's just plain cool! 10/10

We had an excellent experience with Yelitza and would absolutely book with her again. She was incredibly communicative, sending regular updates and lots of photos and videos which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Tuffy was so comfortable with Yelitza - she is very calm and loving. She took wonderful care of our dog, brought in packages that arrived while we were gone, and ran the dishwasher when she left! We came home to a relaxed, and well-cared-for dog, and it was clear he had been in great hands. We highly recommend Yelitza to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter.

Alyssa was fantastic! She stayed with my Doberman for several days and kept me updated with pictures of their adventures. Will absolutely book again!

This is our second time using Amber and she continues to be wonderful and the best sitter we have found on Rover. Our house was spotless when we returned, and our pets were well cared for. Our anxious dog loves her and didn't even mind that we were gone!

We appreciate Jennifer very much! She is good with communication (and pictures!) As her bio says, she is very familiar with many kinds of animals (lots of experience:) so was able care for our bunnies and 2 dogs. One of our dogs is elderly and arthritic and Jennifer was definitely in tune to her needs. Jennifer even cared for this crew an extra day so we could extend our vacation a bit! Thank you again!

Rebecca was so reliable, trouble shot an electronic lock, and loved my itty bitty kittie. I would recommend her to anyone!

Tommy did a great job taking care of Gigi and watching the house. That is the reason I have used him a few times and will continue to use him. I highly recommend!

This was our first time using Rover and we cannot say enough about how wonderful Annie is. Our pups are older, and our kennel closed during the pandemic. Having Annie dog and house sit provided us such peace of mind. She sent updates throughout the day and it was clear our pups were very well taken care of! Working with Annie was a delight!

Catherine stayed with my dog, Dante, a couple of times. She is very responsible and communicative - she always sends me pictures and lets me know how Dante is doing. She is a very reliable person and I’d definitely recommend contacting her if you’re looking for someone to look after your pet!

Chantal was excellent, attentive, and available. She was patient with my high energy boys and took great care of them. Best experience I’ve ever had on Rover- no competition.

Sarah was very kind and Kylo seemed to do great with her! She took him on long walks and cuddled him at our house. Highly recommend Sarah!

Natalie was great with my four dogs!!! She stayed with my pups while I was away and loved them as if they were her own! She went above and beyond fir us the last couple days! I would highly recommend her and would have her watch my pups again!

Due to my "go to" sitter moving town, I needed to find a new home for my babies while I'm out of town. My son and I travel a lot so typical boarding/kennel is not my favorite place for the doggies. Arya was very responsive when setting up the stay. My dogs tend to forget their training when meeting someone new, and I appreciated that Arya immediately responded to my goldendoodle the way I want him to when he jumps - he turned his back. Within 2 minutes Ayra had Marlin responding as he should (too often people tell me, "oh, it's okay" and allow Marlin to misbehave. I know this is also on me...but to have help, helps!). The dogs were walked regularly and I was given many, many videos. I had some questions about the dogs after pick up, and Arya responded immediately. He also texted to check in to see how they were doing, which was great. I'd absolutely use Arya again for shorter trips; I'm not sure about longer ones because the dogs appear to spend much time in the crate. It's not a negative per se - and I trusted Arya completely with them - it's just that that stay is very different from their lifestyle they've experienced during boarding, which is a large yard in which to run free, and generally only crating at night for sleep and when my previous sitter would leave the house.

Elizabeth was amazing with our anxious dog! He can take a bit to warm up to people and she was so patient and sweet with him. She was so thoughtful in her questions during the meet and greet and in her updates to us. She was great about making sure Toby was comfortable and well cared for while we were away!
