Dog Boarding in Poughkeepsie

Judging by her reluctance to leave Mildred’s, my dog really enjoyed her stay there. She had fun playing in the fenced-in yard with Mildred’s dogs & seemed very comfortable with Mildred & her family. Mildred kept me posted with photos & messages while I was away. Great stay - thank you, Mildred!

Volha was great with our dogs - she sent regular updates and pictures and we felt like our dogs were well looked after and part of the family during their stay.

I was so anxious about our Sadie's first time away from us but Cherissa and her family really eased our minds. So many beautiful and pictures of Sadie enjoying her stay. Pics on walks, eating and even a very heartwarming pic of Cherissa's sweet dog and Sadie sleeping side by side. I Highly recommend using Cherissa as your Rover sitter.

Judy and Steve were great in handling and caring for Buddy. They accepted him into their home and made him part of the family for 10 days. It was an extended length the first time they cared for him and he enjoyed it. They sent us pictures during his stay with them and he was content, comfortable and relaxed as he was laying down in the living room, just hanging out with their dog and the rest of the family. We would absolutely use Judy and Steve again. Thanks

Dropped off my Maple, and was very nervous as it was my first time using the app. When I say I had no reason to worry!! Donna was the best sitter and made my little girl feel like a part of her family. I got multiple photos everyday, and when my plane was delayed for two extra days, she worked with me and made me have a peace of mind that my dog was in great hands!! You need a sitter? Donna is the lady for the job!!

Maria is great! Her house is in a beautiful back country area and she and her mom seem like real dog lovers that took good care of bean. I would leave bean with her again.

Thalya took great care of Birdie! Was very friendly, responsive and communicative. Felt very safe and comfortable leaving our pup with her. We will definitely use her again when we need someone to take care of her!

Being that Ellen has never been kenneled in the five years I had her, she was very well cared for. I enjoyed my time away knowing she was in safe hands. He gave me updates and pictures to show me how well she was doing. When I picked her up she was happy and content. She must have had a lot of fun since she slept most of the day. I would definitely bring her back to stay with him when I need to go out of town again. I and Ellen definitely recommend him.

Nayeli was wonderful to work with, she deeply loves animals and has established a caring, supportive environment for pups. She has deep expertise, she runs a tight ship, and is super communicative and thoughtful. Bonnie had a wonderful stay and can't wait to see her doggie friends there again.

Cristian and his family are very personable. He sends me photo and video updates which is very thoughtful and comforting. Will definitely call on him again!

So happy that we found Rover and Rebecca! She took amazing care of my little Billie. I loved the pics and videos and the high level of communication made me feel completely at ease.

Sammy was super responsive and very good with Marti. He kept me updated and is clearly very good with dogs. Will be booking again!

Mario was fantastic to work with! He took care of our dog while we had our big wedding weekend, and ensured our pup was in great hands. He was super considerate to the fact that our dog had an injury, communicative throughout the process, and it was amazing to receive photo updates throughout his stay. We’d definitely book again with Mario!!

Angel gave great care to our pup Kingaroo! Roo got a long walk, a lot of pets, and a lot of love, and I felt like he was in great hands. We'll absolutely rebook with Angel when we're next in the area!

I never felt so good about leaving my baby with anyone before. Amruta was exceptional. Kind sweet professional. My Zoe loved her. Amruta sent pictures updates and was amazing

Gabe & Annie are the absolute best! We hardly ever leave our pup Huck but we needed someone for both our wedding weekend & honeymoon. And we are so happy to have found them. Huck was brought to us so we could get wedding photos with him and then he got to have the best weekend with Gabe/Annie/ and their crew while staying out of the wedding chaos here! They also watched him during our honeymoon trip shortly after which was a blessing because we had never left him that long before. They helped keep us updated and at ease even with being out of the country. So grateful to have found them and their sweet crew of girl pups (and any extra pups that they watch!). Huck will be back there often as they are now our go-to sitters!!
