House Sitting in Schenectady

Lex was great with our chickens and senior dogs! When we originally made the booking we had 3 chickens and 3 elderly dogs (ages 9, 12 and 19). The two oldest were ill with heart failure and cancer, respectively. Both in diapers. Lex and her boyfriend did a visit and the dogs instantly fell in love. By the time the booking came around, our middle dog had passed. Lex instantly updated the booking and sent her respects when I let her know. We were in Europe for a week and everything with the other two and the chickens went well, even though we had our oldest get ill and need antibiotics during the trip. Lex immediately let me know her symptoms and we were able to work with the vet remotely. It’s extremely hard for us to travel given our dogs ages and health conditions. It was so nice to have someone we could trust with them - they’re a lot of work. We came home to a picked up house and happy dogs. Will definitely book again.

Whitney did an excellent job caring for our 4 pets while we were gone, and I know we'll be booking with her again! I was a little nervous about leaving our two cats and two dogs since we hadn't ever left them overnight before. Whitney arrived on time and sent a message immediately, so we knew she was there. Throughout her stay at our house, she communicated with us just the right amount and sent the best pictures! We loved getting her updates on how everything was going back home. It really put my mind at ease so I could enjoy our trip. I can genuinely say our pups looked happier than ever in the photos after her walks with them, and I could tell she was giving them so much love (and all the cuddles)! Thank you for taking such good care of them, Whitney!

Duncan was a great fit to watch our dog, Bear. He was really thoughtful in his care of Bear and was knowledgeable about breeds of his size (he's a Newfoundland). He kept us informed of how he was doing the whole time we were away. Bear seemed very at ease with him. We will definitely book with Duncan again!

This is our second time having Madalyn as our dog-and-house sitter and, as usual, she did an amazing job! Madalyn is punctual, clean and great with our senior lady, and we would love to hire her again in the future. We received many pictures during our weekend away, and she followed our instructions to a T. Thank you for everything, Madalyn!

Lianna and her son were amazing with our puppy Odie and his kitty sisters! Odie absolutely loved having a younger human around to play with and the kitties loved the new cuddle buddies 🥰 We got frequent updates and lots of pictures and I had absolute peace of mind knowing they were in good hands with them both 😊

Megan did a great job. She seemed to take an immediate liking to our dog. She is obviously an animal lover. Plus she really adapted on the fly when a plumbing problem forced us out of our house the night before we were leaving town.

Dawn was great! She worked with us to accommodate our older dog and shy kitten. She was communicative and sent us pictures while we were out. We will definitely check her availability next time our critters need a sitter!

Rachel was more than accommodating!!!! I messed up my dates and she had no problem taking care of the entire crew!!! Everyone was happy and well taken care of! She even sent daily updates giving me peace of mind!!!!
