House Sitting in Shandaken

Elizabeth is everything we had hoped for in a sitter for our 2 anxious pups. We were staying at an Airbnb and needed someone to be with them while we went to a wedding. Elizabeth was extremely responsive, dependable and a great communicaror. She clearly loves doing this, and our pups loved her too. She kept them occupied and engaged to distract them from their preoccupation about mom and dad being away, until they were finally relaxed enough to nap by her feet. We felt completely at ease leaving them in such good hands. Couldn’t recommend Elizabeth highly enough.

Sofia and Arsen were great dog sitters for my dog Jeni. Although Jeni was timid at first, she warmed up to them rather quickly and had a good weekend. Sofia and Arsen were communicative with me throughout the visit and spent a lot of time with Jeni, including walking her, taking her for a hike, and, of course, lots of pets. I will definitely have them watch my dog again; it was a good first experience.

Rose was an amazing companion for our dogs and cat for nearly 2 weeks. The pets and home were well taken care off. Rose kept us up to date with daily pictures and we could see how happy everyone was. Would very much recommend Rose as reliable care taker.

Very nice, our dog loved her. They took a long walk and even took her on a just because car ride together. Shelby left the house and we came home to a happy dog.

Amy was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend her. Me and my fiancé were very reluctant to go away for our anniversary, but we felt very relaxed with Amy staying with our dog Alex. She was extremely detail oriented, communicated often about Alex’s behavior/ food habits, etc. and took initiative. She was focused on his overall well being, his interests and sent us photos. Your dog will be in great hands with Amy!!!!

Elisha is a wonderful pup sitter. She sat our beloved doggies, Joni & Jaco with great attention to detail, warmth and care. I finally felt like I could truly relax on vacation!

Kacey took great care of my dogs and rabbit while I was on vacation. She was very communicative leading up to the stay and sent lots of photos while I was away. I could tell my pets were comfortable and happy! I would recommend Kacey and plan to use her again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. Vanessa was amazing! Our pups all have very different needs and personalities, and she handled each of them with patience, attention, and care. When we got back, the dogs were happy, relaxed, and well taken care of. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in capable hands. We’re so grateful to Vanessa and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring!

Bryson stayed at our house to watch our GSP for the weekend. He kept us updated throughout his time with our dog and took great care of him. Our dog is very high energy so it was great to find a sitter that is used to all types of temperaments. The house was clean when we got back home and he even washed the sheets. We will definitely be asking Bryson to watch our dog again in the future!

Lexi is responsible, punctual, communicative, and overall a pleasure to work with. She took excellent care of three dogs in my home. I'll definitely contact her again!

Rochelle was great — she arrived on time, was very responsive, and kept me updated with messages and photos while I was away. My dogs especially Peach loved her right away, and I felt comfortable knowing they were in good hands. I’d be happy to book with her again.

Sophie is incredible sweet, compassionate and understanding. She sat for us during as a last minute call during a very difficult time. I can’t recommend her enough. The house was well taken care of, the pups were loved, she is a real one. 🩷
