Dog Boarding in Trumansburg

Max & Kyle we're INCREDIBLE to work with. They were responsive, easy to communicate and schedule with. They sent us videos of our puppies having a blast. We so look forward to future bookings with them and would recommend with all 8 paws! 🐾

Caterina is so warm and hospitable. You can tell she loves taking care of our pups! She is very organized and specific so that things run smoothly and the dogs don’t get stressed. They have full run of a part of the house and get lots of opportunities to play together outside or take a walk, she says. The “meet and greet”was new to me, but I see the value. Caterina tuned into Bogie from the start. TIP: It would be helpful if ROVER and/or the pet sitter specified the TIME WINDOWS for dropping off and picking up. Also is the “daily” charge for EACH NIGHT or for EACH 24-HR period? ALSO when a person requests “3 nights” (or days), it is the practice of hotels is to CHECK OUT on the FOURTH ONE BY A CERTAIN TIME. ROVER really caused me angst when they messed up my request for THREE NIGHTS and Kyle scheduled pickup BEFORE the third night. The SITE IS VERY “UNFRIENDLY” about modifying a booking. I was desperately trying to figure it out for over an hour and then I texted Caterina and she said I could have just contacted HER! What a waste of my time and a lot of frustration. ROVER NEEDS TO FIX ALL THIS. I can’t recommend it the way it is now. I was beside myself two days before my vacation trying to get things corrected. Pickup and Drop off times were never specified. People picking me up for the trip had to change their time. It would have been helpful if I knew what kind of window I had w/ pet sitter. HAD TO DRIVE an EXTRA 80 mins that morning, then jump in car and go the 6 hrs north right by her place. Found out (after the fact) as early as 4am was good. WISH I HAD KNOWN!! Not sure where it is written… I wish it was specified somewhere; it would eliminate much unnecessary back and forth texting to get the logistics down.

We left our 9 year old and 9 month old labs with Arya for a week and a half. He sent daily videos of both of them during their stay and offered objective suggestions for their care. Both dogs were happy to see Arya when they arrived (having stayed once before during a long weekend), which indicates to me they are happy staying there! We will definitely re-book with Arya.

Carl absolutely loved his time with Kathy, Tim, and Bailey! We can’t thank them enough for all the love they gave our puppy. Highly recommended!

Alex was a fantastic host to our dog, Zoey. Alex sent pictures and updates throughout her stay, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation. We will definitely book again.

Aaron & Kaylee were great! We used them on an emergency basis and they took great care of our dog. At drop off they introduced us to their other pets and we were immediately confident they would do a great job with our pet.

Andrea was very communicative, not to mention flexible when our plane didn't arrive on time. Lovely house, and fenced backyard- sent pictures of Ruby every day. Would book again.

Our dogs had such a great time! They're really happy to visit Robert and Eileen and Huckleberry and Sydney and Finn, and have gotten to feel very comfortable with them. We're just so lucky to have connected with these wonderful people :-)

I've used Destiny for boarding twice now and both time's she has been wonderful. She was very communicative and flexible as my plans changed. Her place is great for an active dog with plenty of room to run around. Also, seems quite cozy for when they are tired from all that activity. I highly recommend Destiny

Rose was wonderful! She kept my dogs longer when my flight home was delayed. My girls loved getting to play in her fenced in yard. Bonus: she takes amazing pictures of your pets!

Jennifer has an amazing space where I felt safe leaving my dog. I knew he would have fun running around and playing with other dogs. Jennifer is very communicative giving me updates whenever I would text her. She also sent me videos and photos of him playing. She is committed to the dog's comfort and happiness. I had a great experience with her and will definitely do this again!

Susan took wonderful care of our 5 month old kitten, Beanz, who has undergone quite a few life changes in the past month and a half, from being rescued from the side of the road, introduced to our home with a dog, introduction to another dog vacationing with its human at our home and then off to Susan's while we were out of town. Susan was very sensitive to Beanz' temperament, gaver her space or love whenever it was needed. She was very communicative regarding what Beanz was up to during the day, and pickup/dropoff was smooth.

From the very first interaction, Jessica has been warm, helpful, friendly and an excellent communicator. It was my first time leaving my pup, and I felt great knowing Jessica and her pup Alex were there to take care of her. She sent lots of pics of the pups who appeared to be playing non stop! I would definitely leave my pup in Jessica’s care again.

Laura was AWESOME! Our dog thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Laura sent us lots of amazing photos during our trip, which really put us at ease! We will absolutely use Laura again!
