Cat Sitting in Waterford

Stephanie was amazing. We met her once and knew she was the right choice. She was easily able to handle providing medication and special nutritional needs for our two older girls, as well as, keeping our younger guy busy with plenty of playtime. Steph sent plenty of pictures each day along with a detailed recap of each visit. When we were delayed 2 days getting home from our trip she was happy to extend our agreement to help us out of the jam. I would recommend to anyone needing care for their animals… as long as we don’t need her first!

I would love to have Larissa watch my two cats for me again! Very respectful and trustworthy. She sent daily updates and pictures which I greatly appreciated. It’s nice being away and knowing my pets and home are well cared for.

Kendra was super communicative and thoughtful before, during, and after her stay with my cat Azi. She went above and beyond to keep my plants watered, sent a ton of photos and videos, and left the house clean and tidy. Most of all, Azi clearly loved her. Would highly recommend!

***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.

First cat hid the whole time but our second cat loved getting attention from Larry! Food, water, litterboxes all taken care of as requested, and other impromptu requests too.

Linda was so awesome. I hired her thru this app and she took care of my two cats. Then, when I got stuck in Tampa due to cancelled flight because of bad weather, she stepped right in to help me out in a pinch. I’m so thankful my cats got such good care!!

Sonya did a fantastic job taking care of our cat Kazoo while we were away. Her communication was great and we loved getting the pictures after each visit. I would 100% use her again in the future!

Alessia is good with the kitties and very pleasant to work with. One cat is very shy and she charmed her! Great communication and photos too.

Kania is always so responsive and flexible for our drop ins, accommodating changes to our plan and being communicative at all times! I always feel at ease leaving Lux in her care knowing that Lux is happy and taken care of, and love receiving videos and pictures when im away!

As always, Meg is so compassionate, caring, and gentle with our kitty. She always ensures to feed her her food with her meds, and makes sure her water bowl and litter are attended to. She always spends quality time giving her lots of pets and cuddles and making her feel at ease.
