Cat Sitting in Watervliet

Stephanie was amazing. We met her once and knew she was the right choice. She was easily able to handle providing medication and special nutritional needs for our two older girls, as well as, keeping our younger guy busy with plenty of playtime. Steph sent plenty of pictures each day along with a detailed recap of each visit. When we were delayed 2 days getting home from our trip she was happy to extend our agreement to help us out of the jam. I would recommend to anyone needing care for their animals… as long as we don’t need her first!

Anna was awesome!! I really appreciated her updates and communication. She left the house in great shape. Most importantly, my cat Azi clearly adored her, and I could travel knowing he was safe and happy. Will definitely hire again :)

Kendra was super communicative and thoughtful before, during, and after her stay with my cat Azi. She went above and beyond to keep my plants watered, sent a ton of photos and videos, and left the house clean and tidy. Most of all, Azi clearly loved her. Would highly recommend!

Linda took such great care of our cat while we were out of town! Her detailed (and funny) updates on her visits and several fun photos were very much appreciated. She was very responsive, and came for a meet and greet before her first visit. Our cat gets stressed when we are gone, and we felt so much better knowing he was being well cared for. We will definitely be reaching out to Linda next time we are away!

Kimberly was phenomenal with our two cats during her drop in visits! I was so happy to see that even our less social cat, enjoyed having Kim over for playtime-- it usually takes Lemon a while to warm up to strangers, but Kim was able to get her to play! I had been very nervous to leave the cats alone, but having such a caring sitter made the process much easier-- Kim's pictures of my cats eagerly playing and updates on their food & water supply gave me the peace of mind to enjoy my trip, instead of worrying about Lemon & Penne! Kim has a way with pets and I will absolutely contact her again the next time I need someone to watch my cats. I would recommend her to anyone, especially those with more reserved cats! Her energy brings them out of their shell. Thank you Kim!

Samantha did a fantastic job taking care of my cat while I was traveling! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of.

This is our second time using Sara and I know when we are away I don't have to worry about our kitties - she takes great care of them and our house is always in great shape when we come back as well. Thank you Sara!!

***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.

Christina was awesome, she was very reliable and took very good care of our cat, feeding and litter. She sent pictures each visit and tried each time to engage our cat, who unfortunately stubbornly decided to stay under a bed while she was there. We would definitely use her again.

Our first experience with Leah has been great! She took perfect care of our 4cats. Leah is a great communicator and took good initiative when things arose that we hadn’t been able to discuss in advance. We’ll definitely feel our cats are in excellent hands when we have the opportunity to have her here again!

I had a great experience with her while I was away on a business trip. She took excellent care of my cat, Sydney, and my fish, Phoenix. She spent plenty of quality time with Sydney, which really helped him feel comfortable and not abandoned while I was gone. If Sydney had one complaint, it would be that he always wants more attention. All requested tasks were handled to a high standard, including feeding my fish, cleaning the litter box, and making sure everything was in good order during her visits. She was respectful of my space, reliable, and followed all care instructions as discussed. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and I would be happy to have her watch my pets again in the future.

Jaanice was awesome with Chai. From the moment Chai walked in the door she was comfortable and made herself at home. Jannice updated me through pictures and messages. Would definitely book with her again! 🤍

We tasked Larry with a last minute booking for our two kittens. He did amazing with them and followed all instructions. He was very respectful of our apartment as well. Will definitely book again!
